0:13 Hello, everybody. Let's get started. Today's our early day, so we want to cram in as much of this information as we can today. We will start where we left off in going through the book called The Kill Zone by Craig Roberts. In 1965, there were four light vehicles that were in service with various armed...
0:45 Now, remember yesterday we left off with the difference between the aircraft being used, what went out to Dallas, and what came back. These consisted of American Motors' Mighty Might, the Dodge three-quarter ton power wagon personnel carrier, the M38 Jeep, and the tiny mechanical mule.
1:14 with the exception of the vehicles in the Marine Corps inventory, all began being replaced by one vehicle, M151 quarter-ton truck made by Ford. This was the first time in the history of the military procurement of motor transport that all light vehicles were procured from the same manufacturer. And the point he's making is all of the people that benefited
1:44 in Vietnam, where simultaneously, instead of acquiring weapon systems and supply equipment from multiple vendors so that you get the best value in the military, simultaneously with us entering into Vietnam, there were going to be very specific companies that benefited from that war. As a final result,
2:17 He wanted to talk about the mysterious TFX. The TFX, which was eventually adopted by the Air Force after Navy rejected it, as the F-111. It was an albatross at birth. It was supposed to be designed to fill a dual role, both multi-use fighter-bomber and long-range interceptor for the fleet.
2:47 To fulfill these missions, it had to be capable of being catapulted and landing on aircraft carriers. Those maneuvers require low speeds. And then you would also have to be able to chase bogeys at supersonic speeds. To accomplish this, the design required a variable geometric wing, exceptionally...
3:20 heavy landing gear, and two internal afterburner engines. This result was an ungainly aircraft, later nicknamed by pilots, the Aardvark. A friend of mine when I was at the Pentagon flew one of those. He didn't have anything nice to say about it at all. The F-111, after being pushed into the Air Force inventory by LBJ, had a dismal record of crashes.
3:48 when it finally deployed to Southeast Asia. There are several other examples of sole supplier contracts awarded during this time, but these are some of the premier cases. It is obvious that a great deal of money went into the bank accounts of selected corporations. The question is, how did those particular manufacturers rate such favorable treatment?
4:16 Late in the war in Vietnam, information circulated among the fighting forces that one major stockholder of Bell Helicopter just happened to be a trust whose beneficiary was Lady Bird Johnson. That same entity also was rumored to be a major stockholder in General Dynamic in Fort Worth, the builder of the F-111.
4:48 The M151 manufacturer, Ford Motor Company, had direct ties to former Ford executive and Edsel proponent, Robert Strange McNamara, as company president prior to his move into the government service as SECDEF under Kennedy and Johnson. It is really weird that he wouldn't have been replaced. That's a very advantageous position.
5:19 when you're buying up all of this equipment to go to war. And then there's Brown and Root, another Texas company in construction with ties to LBJ. Brown and Root received multi-billion dollar contracts to dredge Cameron Bay to clear the harbor for cargo operations when they already had other alternatives.
5:52 but insisted Cameron Bay had to be used. There were protests loud and long in support of Vietnamese doing the work themselves. Johnson made sure Brown and Root got the contract. But an investigation cannot be satisfied with speculation and innuendo and rumors. Even if the above assertions are true, there are still the questions of who was making money through Colt,
6:26 firearms. In an attempt to get the facts regarding the intricacies of this during Vietnam years, he wrote, the author, Craig Roberts, the SEC in DC. In his letter, he asked for information concerning exactly who owned controlling interests and who were the major stockholders in the corporations mentioned above.
6:54 Over a period of five months, his letter requesting information was forwarded to various individuals, each promising to send him. I invited you up to co-host, Bridget. Each promising to send information, but they just kept passing the buck over and over again. On two separate occasions, he was told that they had lost his inquiry and he'd have to resubmit it.
7:28 Finally, he sent a fax directly to a particular individual that had taken time to call him about his letter. He had been conducting a routine audit of the correspondence log, and though his letter had been logged in, he could not find any record of it being answered. He informed him that it had not been answered. He asked that I request the information again via fax to him personally.
7:59 The author's direct question on the facts was, who owned the controlling interest or was a major shareholder in the following companies? Between 1960 and 68, Bell Helicopter, General Dynamic, Colt Firearms, Ford Motor Company, Boeing, McDonald Douglas, well, McDonald and then Douglas, because they were not together at the time. One week.
8:29 Later, he received a phone call from a female assistant. In a somewhat mystified sounding voice, she said that she had spent the day looking for the records of all of those corporations concerning the dates, but it failed to find any of them. She said that this was most unusual, that those particular records were missing. She went on to say that it was possible, due to the passage of time, that they had been transferred to the National Archive. Maybe he should look there.
9:02 But before I could write the National Archives, his original letter evidently had surfaced at the SEC. On July 29, 1992, he received a letter with the following statement. Quote, this is to acknowledge your letter concerning the above referenced. We are unable to provide the information you are in need of because the files have been disposed of. Period.
9:35 Of course, anybody that's worked in government knows that there's so much crap, especially like this, that's archived forever. Weird that that would not be in that. So it was obvious to him at this point that the military industrial complex was comprised of greedy politicians in public service and industrialists in the private sector. But what about the mafia?
10:09 Whenever there is money to be made, organized crime does its best to get a piece of the action. And the big money during Vietnam years was to be made in the defense industry. For organized crime, one way was simply a matter of doing in the public, the corporate world, what they had been doing elsewhere, expanding and growing monopolies. What monopoly would the mafia get into?
10:39 Oh, vending machines. If you guys have never read about this, it's actually incredible because I've read about it in a couple of different books. They created a company called You Serve Corporation. Robert Bobby Baker, the protege of none other than LBJ, ever since he went to the Senate, was in the vending machine business on the side.
11:13 Baker was in partnership with a Las Vegas casino operative and mafia money launderer by the name of Edward Levinson. They owned the vending machine company called YouServe Corporation. Virtually every large armament manufacturer in the country that received government contracts had a YouServe vending contract.
11:41 If someone received a government contract, it was quietly understood that every employee break room would have you serve vending machines in them. Levinson was an interesting character. He was the brother of Mike and Louis Levinson of Newport, Kentucky, who ran the mafia gambling operations in one of the wilder towns in the upper Midwest at the time.
12:10 Among his contacts outside of Las Vegas was Erwin Weiner of New Orleans. Weiner worked directly for Carlos Marcello. Levinson's, and for those of you who don't know, he's the mafia don in New Orleans. Levinson's job was to coordinate cash flow between Las Vegas and the tipsters union, Jimmy Hoffa. It should be noted.
12:41 that Erwin Weiner was a longtime associate of none other than Jack Ruby. Both had at one time worked for Sam Giacana in Chicago and through a chain of command still did at the time of the assassination. By charting out associates and connections, it's not difficult to trace an organizational tree that led from the lowest organized crime.
13:17 people directly back to the white house the end of this particular motive trail can be summed up in a word profit when the motives and beneficiaries are combined it can be seen that several things would occur if kennedy was eliminated the cia would remain intact and would be permitted to pursue operations both worldwide and in laos the mafia besides making money on the war
13:51 You had the military-industrial complex and all of the illicit drug dealings that came out of the heroin that was taken out of Laos and Burma and southern China. You would also be rid of Bobby Kennedy and his anti-mafia crusade. Lifelong government bureaucrats, including J. Edgar Hoover, would keep his job.
14:24 Certain corporate entities, most of which provide financial support, to the politicians would get contracts for the war and the anti-Castro Cuban community would get their revenge. And then, of course, LBJ wouldn't have to be vice president anymore. He could be president. So Craig says it was at this point.
15:00 in doing his background research that he received his second supply reply letter from the 89th airlift wing remember in the previous chapters he had been requesting the make and model of the different aircraft that they were using for interchangeably with the vip aircraft and um air force one so it started let me start by assuring you that there is
15:34 Only one aircraft with the tail number 26000. It was delivered to the 1254th Air Transport Wing on 10 October 1962 as a C-137, which is a Boeing 707-320. It was originally built with the vertical fin attached, but as a modification in 1968, the vertical fin was removed.
16:03 You can't just remove a vertical fin and it still fly. Sorry. Anyway, other modifications included leading edge flaps, new wing tips, takeoff flaps, and larger sucker doors. Interior modifications, which were a result of President Johnson's requesting that the stateroom be relocated to the front of the aircraft, as well as
16:35 the entry exit door. This explanation, if correct, would explain the lack of a vertical fin on 26000 in the photo taken in 72. However, it is hard to feature removing such a large structural item during a modification. Such a major alteration would require a complete re-engineering of the tail section.
17:05 new weights and balances, everything. It's like basically restructuring the entire aircraft. Any benefits from removal of the appendage would have been negligible. The unexplained part is why this particular 707 fitted with such a fin to begin with and why no reply from Boeing. The letter went on.
17:33 26000 was the aircraft that transported both President Kennedy and Johnson back. 6970 did not do this. Although 6970 was used by President Kennedy on several occasions, it was never officially designated as a presidential aircraft. By the way, no aircraft is called Air Force One. That's only a call sign given to whatever aircraft the president is on. Air Force Two.
18:03 is the vice president. Though this impacted Craig's theory on why there might have been a switch in airplanes, it did not alter the fact that he felt sure there was something clandestine regarding the body that had taken place between Dallas and Washington. And by that time, after painstakingly piecing together other bits and pieces,
18:32 both known and previously unknown information, he felt that he knew what was actually happening in Dallas and who was involved. In putting the pieces of the 30-year-old puzzle together, one eventually finds, provided the false leads and bogus evidence is identified and cast aside, that only two entities were required before the fact, the CIA and the mafia.
19:01 Certain individuals outside those two organizations would also come into play, but they were hand-selected by one or both, either the CIA or the mafia. Ancillary personnel, such as certain anti-Castro Cubans and professional foreign assassins, were also utilized as assets. Now, of course, we know because of Gladio that they actually are under the control.
19:30 of the intelligence organizations that's who tasks them they're not separate entities to understand exactly who the players must have been one must first understand the multi-level tiers of command and control structures in covert operations the structure is designed for one purpose he calls it insulation
19:57 Also, plausible deniability is the normal term. The beneficiaries of these operations known as black ops. So if discovered, there's plausible deniability. They must be so well insulated from the action teams in the field that no one at field level could ever identify who is in charge. It's done by.
20:29 building concentric rings of operation. Typically, there are three main levels, each insulated by a go-between. The top level, normally limited as much as possible to the number of co-conspirators, consists of planners and those who benefit from the designated activity. In this case, it would be high-level bureaucrats.
20:56 The initial mission objective is developed at that level and then passed down to lower levels for detailed planning, logistical support, recruiting, key intelligence gathering, and execution. But the chain of command is not direct. Between the top level and the mid-level, there's an immediate contact. This individual normally works alone. It is the only one who knows anything between the top.
21:27 and the middle tier. Often, he only knows a voice on a telephone or a code name. A typical assignment might be, we have a job, it's in Europe, it'll be in the spring. The intermediate contact, who is in this example, might specialize in executive action or assassinations. They understand exactly what the statement means. He only has to wait for further details.
21:58 The intermediate level normally consists of seven people or less. This level of command is recruited and custom tailored specifically for each mission. That's why it's great having all of these Gladio cells around that work together on multiple missions. The normal staff would contain a commander who is the only person who makes contact upstream.
22:29 This is exactly the way Gladio cells were working, if you guys remember Paul Williams' book. There would then be an executive officer and a personnel officer, an intel officer, an ops and planning officer, a logistics and supply officer, and possibly one or two more to serve as liaisons to the local environment that you're going to be operating in.
22:58 The intermediate level staff is responsible for several things. They gather intelligence concerning the operational area, the objective, the target, and anything else that would influence the mission. They formulate the plan, recruit the field teams through lower level code name contacts. They provide all logistical support, funding, and transportation, and serve as a conduit of information. Below the intermediate command level,
23:28 are one or two code name contacts who function as direct contacts to the field operatives as their handlers. They also serve when required as the field team's command and control. In this role, they have portable radios, weapons, and money. Kind of looks exactly like a Gladio cell.
23:57 In the case of the Bay of Pigs invasion, the CIA instructors and handlers who trained the Cubans served the role of the IC between the field forces and the intermediate command staff. These individuals, in the case of the CIA, might be actual CIA agents or contract operatives. Their code names at that level are usually aliases. For example,
24:26 E. Howard Hunt, who worked closely with the Cubans during the preparation of Operation Zapata, was known as Eduardo. His colleague, Francesco Farini, went by Frank Sturgis. At the bottom of the chain are the actual operational personnel. These are the individuals or groups that actually perform the mission. In the case of executive action, assassination, these teams are made up of
24:56 highly skilled cellular teams who operate together on a consistent basis or individuals that may have not worked on specific missions, depending on the sensitivity of the assignment. If they want maximum plausible deniability, they will bring three separate, usually three separate teams in, give them a specific mission.
25:27 so they have no contact with each other that's not generally done it is generally like a seven person team where you have a lead and then two one shooter one spotter placed in three separate areas the background of u.s executive action operations can be traced back to the 1950s during the years when fidel castro came to power we know exactly when they started
25:59 For reasons already discussed, a meld between the CIA and the mafia came about for reasons of combined interest. The CIA, by virtue of national objectives during the Eisenhower administration, wanted Castro eliminated. The mafia, which still had many solid contacts inside of Cuba, which the CIA didn't have, they did have for the first two or three years, wanted to reclaim their casinos.
26:29 It was a partnership. It also must be pointed out that the CIA's assassination manual for Latin America, according to Colonel Fletcher Prouty, if this is a quote, if possible, professional criminals will be hired to carry out specific selective jobs, unquote.
26:51 In the case of Castro, a CIA operation codenamed Operation 40 was developed and put into motion. Operation 40 came about under the auspices of the CIA super secret 5412 committee, which we know all about. We've studied that part. That 5412 committee was set up to do covert operations by the CIA. No actions by field teams could take place without orders or at least approval of that committee.
27:23 That was at least the golden rule. We know the CIA did whatever they wanted to. The decision makers inside the committee were Richard Bissell, Deputy Director of Plans of Covert Operations, J.C. King, Director of Western Hemisphere, and Sheffield Edwards, Chief of Security for the CIA. In that instance, the committee, according to researchers, contacted none other than Howard Hughes to help set up a front operation for deniability.
27:53 The Hughes organization assigned former FBI agent Robert Mayhew, who we've spent a lot of time talking about recently, to handle the details. At this point, the 5412 committee passed the ball down to the newly formed Operation 40 staff. Operation 40 in 1960 was assigned the mission of locating and eliminating Fidel Castro, his brother Raul, and Shea Cavera. But the CIA
28:23 did not have the assets on hand to accomplish the mission. Therefore, it was decided to call upon the mafia. The CIA mafia connection back to World War II and OSS and the Sicilian and Corsican mafia had worked together multiple times. Mayhew, of course, contacted Johnny Roselli because we've read about Johnny Roselli as well.
28:51 He was the one that was going to do, he was going to be Robert Mayhew's point of contact. Roselli had worked for Sam Giacconi, Santo Traficani, and other mafia kingpins. Now, of course, Santo Traficani had a personal interest in Cuba because he was running the mafia there. He was in charge of Tampa, Miami, and Cuba.
29:22 until Cuba was gone. Then he goes on to explain the stuff that we already know about Meyer Lansky and him helping the World War II. But he says that, of course, Meyer Lansky had a lot of activity in Cuba as well and definitely wanted Batista returned to Cuba because he was their guy.
29:57 When Santo Traficani Sr. died in 54, his family crime business went to his son, Junior. By the end of the decade, Junior was well entrenched in Cuba. He owned a substantial interest in a night spot managed by Johnny Roselli and was in partnership with Lansky at the Tropicana Casino in Havana.
30:32 The famous night spot, nightclub, was managed by Dallas gambler Louis McWillie. He was Jack Ruby's idol, and Jack Ruby visited him in Cuba during this time. Also during this time, a distinguished guest in Havana was none other than Richard Nixon. Nixon made frequent trips to the island.
31:07 He visited the casinos as well as Batista. He even had considered the possibility of establishing a law office in Havana. When Batista fell during the Castro revolution, Castro declared, I'm going to run all of these fascist mobsters, all of these American gangsters out of Cuba.
31:39 That's an actual quote. He went on to say, I'm going to nationalize everything Cuba for the Cubans. By 1960, Castro had expelled organized crime, deported all of the syndicate members that he could find, and closed down the casinos, the narcotics labs where they were cutting the cocaine with sugar, and the houses of prostitution.
32:10 According to various sources, Traficante was directly responsible for recruiting 10 sharpshooters from the Cuban community in Miami for Operation 40. The action team snipers were selected to use precision belt takedown Belgian rifles, trained at a secret location called The Ranch in Mexico, then infiltrated Cuba.
32:41 using CIA assets. Operating under CIA's infiltration into Cuba and their action plan with assassination teams, it was called ZR Rifle. The mafia supplied shooters managed to get very close to accomplishing this, but before they could make the hit, they were discovered, arrested, and tortured until they provided the Cubans
33:12 with the details of the plan. It is believed that the CIA's end of the operation that provided certain CIA and other assets was handled under yet another code name, that from the station called JM Wave. Both Operation 40 and JM Wave came under Operation Mongoose, the name for all of the operations against Cuba, though JM Wave
33:45 is mentioned by many sources. They even included radio propaganda, clandestine transmitters, the whole nine yards. The plan was a bust, but the organizational structure and key operatives of Operation 40 and ZR Rifle remained intact because it's part of a permanent gladio state. By 1963, JFK had not only made enemies,
34:16 who would benefit from his demise inside both government and the mob. But his programs and decisions added other powerful people and entities that would profit if he was removed. The factor now faced by these entities was the probability that he stood an excellent chance of being re-elected in 1964.
34:42 If this were to happen, the CIA would cease to exist in its present form. The mafia would be pursued by his brother. Lyndon Johnson was expected to be dropped from the Kennedy ballot in the coming election. The Pentagon would lose the only war we had. That was a quote from somebody in the Pentagon.
35:09 And finally, certain industries in corporate America would not gain from the billions and billions of dollars in profit off of the lives of dead military people. According to Fletcher Prouty, quote, after the Bay of Pigs, Kennedy decided he would change the entire structure of how the government would carry out covert operations. He began transferring covert operations to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
35:38 P.S. He's not any better. Shortly after that decision was made, he fired Alan Dulles as chief of the CIA. That was a signal to the CIA about what Kennedy was going to do next that he felt had to be done. Kennedy was changing the status quo from big business to the military, from disgruntled intelligence agents to Cubans and their supporters. Kennedy had to go. Add to all of this.
36:10 The factors mentioned above, and one has to understand that there was significant motive for the murder. Knocking off a foreign dictator is one thing, and the CIA proved immeasurably able to do that repeatedly by 1960. Taking out the President of the United States inside the country was something else.
36:44 And I might add here, just so that you guys know, they did plan to take him out in France during a visit with him and Charles de Gaulle. That was written about in a French paper. There was a guy that actually said he was approached with the contract for $250,000 and declined the contract. And that was associated with the Christian David from the last book we just did.
37:13 Basically, what they were going to do, because they were already trying to kill Charles de Gaulle multiple times by the time Kennedy visited Paris, is they were going to kill JFK. And then the propaganda campaign was it was a failed attempt, another one on Charles de Gaulle, and they missed. That actually happened. So he points out that it would be extremely dangerous to do it inside the United States.
37:47 and disastrous if it went wrong. For conspirators, it must be boiled down to we may have a great deal to lose if things go wrong, but we have much more, much, much more to gain if things go right. And we're going to put our top players on it. Due to the lack of sufficient hard evidence, since most has long since been altered or destroyed, it cannot be proved beyond a
38:18 all doubt exactly what happened in Dealey Square. However, by piecing the pieces together, what we can say is that there is enough circumstantial evidence to say beyond a shadow of a doubt that there was definitely conspiracy and he was definitely murdered and it was not by a lone gunman.
38:48 At some point in time, the decision was made to assassinate the president. That would require at the top level only the desire and the authorization for the mission. The mechanics would be worked out at the intermediate level. The actors at the top level, those having the most to gain considering the motives that have been addressed, would have consisted of a group of selected corporate moguls.
39:15 high-level bureaucrats and politicians, and certain contacts in the covert ops community. Three entities, the money men, the politicians, and the spooks, all interdependent on each other. As with the failed attempt on Castro, it was decided to use a combined operation of both CIA and mafia.
39:40 decided in-house personnel were selected for various positions within the command structure, and the same organized crime figures that were used in Operation 40 were used again. By combining eyewitness accounts and information from other sources, the field operational team would consist of professional assassins provided under the program called ZR Rifle, the Mafia, and anti-Castro Cubans.
40:07 ZR rifle team members would provide local support, equipment, and intelligence to the first line shooters. The mafia supplied professional assassins and the CIA. The mafia didn't provide the assassins. Gladio did, but whatever. The mafia, the CIA's anti-Castro Cubans were basically field operators. In the case of a miss or a malfunction of equipment,
40:37 of any of the primary shooters, the JR rifle representatives could immediately take over and finish the job. It should not be assumed that the CIA as an organization was involved, but elements of the CIA was definitely involved. And we know Alan Dulles sat in an alternative command post the entire weekend, even though he had been fired and didn't work for the CIA anymore.
41:15 Okay, in the mainstream, the vast majority of CIA personnel would not have been read in on this operation, and that is true. By their very nature, intelligence organizations are very compartmentalized. As the plan was being developed, these three factors had to be decided. Where, when, and who? Where would the attempt be made? When would it happen, and who would be involved? Once those questions are answered,
41:47 Other planning begins. This is the standard planning style that approaches a problem of this magnitude. Back planning on this particular occasion hinged upon where and when. As early as May, two primary operational areas had been chosen. We know that Chicago was on the list. We know that Tampa was on the list. He says that Miami was also on the list.
42:16 as well as Texas. In September 1962, Traficani made the statement to Jose Alleman, a wealthy Cuban exile in Miami, that Kennedy's not going to make it to the election. That's a direct quote. He then looked at him and said he's going to be hit. Unknown to Traficani, Alleman was an informant for the FBI.
42:50 Allman reported this conversation to the FBI, but the FBI would either not take him seriously or suppress the evidence. Since the FBI was involved, I'm going with option number two. Then, according to Miami police informant William Somerset, a meeting between him and a wealthy extremist named Joseph Miltier.
43:22 M-I-L-T-E-E-R, occurred on November 9th, 1963, that gave the second warning to the wear and win parts. Unknown to Miltier, the conversation was recorded. It concerned Kennedy's upcoming visit to Miami. Quote, you can bet your bottom dollar he, Kennedy, is going to have a lot to say about the Cubans.
43:51 There are just so many of them here. The more bodyguards he has, the easier it is to get him, unquote. Because the CIA has used bodyguards to kill heads of state. They did it in Egypt. They just recently did it in Haiti. He was asked when he said that, how is that? The guy responded.
44:30 from an office building with a high-powered rifle. He knows he's a marked man, unquote. So Somerset asked him, they're really going to kill him? The response, quote, oh yeah, it's in the works. An investigation wouldn't leave any stone unturned there. No way. They will pick up somebody hours afterwards just to throw the public off, unquote.
45:05 The Miami hit didn't materialize. Instead of traveling through the streets of Miami, Kennedy instead flew to the planned function by helicopter. So since today is going to be an early day, I'm going to stop right there. And for my long term listeners, the next chapter.
45:37 is where it gets really juicy because it's named The French Connection. And imagine my surprise when I read this chapter of something that we discovered a few years ago about the French connection to JFK's assassination. Craig Roberts found it as well. And we'll talk about it tomorrow. It's actually my favorite part of the book. Well, that and his A&P.
46:09 knowledge. Because again, it's just speaking to my heart. And it's something that I'd never heard before. Miss Lou, go ahead. Thank you so much, Colonel. I love when you talk statecraft and connect all the dots. Oh my God, it just gets crazy. I wanted to ask you, since it's heading on to the French connection, during this time, of course, right before the Vietnam War, because we had all this debacle with Kennedy and Cuba and everything, and it was heading...
46:35 Well, and I told you about the movie Havana when the spook says, tells Redford, where are you headed? And he says, I'm on my way to Indonesia because they finished up in Cuba. And he said, well, did you win? And he said, it's never over. So we never win and we never lose. Yeah. Is there a Vietnam connection with this, with the French? Well, so, yeah. I mean, the French basically, we paid.
47:04 for the entire french war in vietnam um that's where lucy and koenig came from the guy that ends up at um intertel and the dirty dozen in washington dc that's embedded with br fox the weapons the covert weapons manufacturer um lucy and koenig was originally um
47:30 He's from France and he was part of the French contingent in Vietnam during the colonial time with France. And so for those of you who don't know, Vietnam had been a French colony for a very long time, like 100 years. World War II comes around and the Japanese displaced the French, except for some fascist French that stayed around in Saigon and loved the Japanese.
47:59 And so those elements were in Vietnam at the end of the war. And the Ho Chi Minh, who was in the North fighting against the Japanese, had his own OSS detachment. He had his own soon to be CIA handlers that was helping him fight the Japanese.
48:29 Now, again, an entire French contingent is still in southern Vietnam helping the Japanese. So Ho Chi Minh, the whole idea of unifying Vietnam post-World War II was to hold a nationwide election. Everybody agreed to it except for the U.S. They wouldn't sign off on it because they had no intentions of allowing Vietnam to have any freedom at all.
48:58 The French were licking their wounds post-World War II. And they're like, no, we don't really want to stay here. Just let them have their country back. And the U.S. insisted that they recolonize Vietnam. And we paid up to 78% of the price tag of the French war against Ho Chi Minh.
49:23 We flew 100% of the airlift missions into Benbenfu, which Ho Chi Minh eventually gets them cornered into Benbenfu. That's the only French left in the country. And it's a massacre. We provided the entire aircraft, supplies, munitions, everything.
49:49 To keep that last. So while that's going on and that's getting narrow and narrower, the CIA was inserting stay behind teams throughout the entire country. And they were using the Catholic Church as cover in Vietnam. That's where you have the big one million man airlift down to the south from the north from a psychological operation. So France is written all over.
50:19 And some of the remaining operatives in intelligence that were the nefarious part of France associated with Gladio stays in country of Vietnam undercover with the CIA and helps them. And Lucien Koenig was one of them because they too had been using the opium. The Corsican mafia had controlled.
50:47 during the entire time the French occupied Vietnam. That's where they were getting the preponderance of their opium from. Once Ben Ben Phu falls, the Corsican Mafia has to change gears and they go to Turkey, Northern Iran, and one other country in that general area. I think there's three.
51:15 for their new source of opium. Afghanistan, of course, duh. So the Corsican mafia is still in the opium business, even though they lost control of Vietnam and the CIA basically gains control of that source of opium from then on. So yes, there's definitely a French connection. Did Johnson get us into the, Johnson got us into the war, right? Yes.
51:44 So Kennedy had already announced that he was pulling everybody out. So that would have cost all of those military industrial complex guys billions of dollars. So they weren't going to allow that to happen. SR, go ahead. Thank you, Colonel, and thank everyone for being here on Rumble on YouTube and on Spaces. I'm sitting here thinking about...
52:20 This guy that decided to not take the contract. And I can imagine him thinking, gee, we tried to kill DeGaulle. How many times you think you're going to get the president? So, no. Yeah, I guess he didn't. He had already been involved in several of the assassination attempts on DeGaulle, which is why he was offered the contract. But even.
52:50 He felt that was too hot for him. Alon, go ahead. Yeah, just a quick note. First, you know, they planned on assassinating Malcolm X in France also. And then in order to blame, you know, to have it not circulated in the U.S., I speak of the CIA in this planning. And also, I just, you know, given the key nature of.
53:22 the french in vietnam and this period in vietnam it's very very interesting um that you know the nation magazine which is kind of a likes to seem like they're leftists likes to seem like they're leftist um yeah i had a writer named thread cook and i i played the um article in the bubble
53:52 down below about um his experiences that he faced in trying to write honestly about the war commission and the um his coverage of the afk assassination in the nation magazine and um it's extremely extremely interesting because um you know the nation had a kind of left liberal editor named um
54:22 Harry McWilliams, who's kind of a big deal, widely respected, you know, among the acceptable left. And but he's very much an establishment guy. And you should see what Fred Cook writes. It's actually an excerpt from a chapter of his 1974 book. Fred Cook was like the lead investigative reporter of the Nation magazine. And he goes into great detail about the censorship that he ran into.
54:52 trying to honestly describe the Warren Commission in this quote-unquote left magazine. And I think it's really critical for understanding, you know, how they do the switcheroo. Like, you know, today, these days we see, you know, a guy like Tucker Carlson will come out and say, okay, the CIA killed JFK. And then kind of like not really run with that football for very far in terms of example.
55:21 patients on this side or the other. And then suddenly he's like doing all Zionism and no CIA. And whereas by, on the other hand, you know, our so-called leftists, you know, I'm sorry, but you, you, everyone here knows that the CIA is intimately connected to multinational corporate America, right? And what do leftists claim to be about limiting the power other than, you know, multinational corporate America? And yet.
55:52 look at them today on the cia it's just it's not there it's just so i mean the degree to which they just give them a free ride and it's just so you can really see that he rule in if you build a fake lap and and you get that crowd you know say oh conspiracy theory and then you know it's just
56:20 It's just a whole fake left right thing. But again, the key beneficiary is are the corporations supposed to be the enemy of the left? Correct. So it's all fake. The left is fake. The right is fake as it's portrayed to the peasants. It is a made up Hegelian dialect that.
56:47 basically forces people to get in one of the two camps. And then the person, all of the politicians and the corporations go down the middle. While these people are squabbling among each other, they're free to do whatever they want. And that's been the mode of operation for a very, very long time. Right. Yeah, Colonel, I just really urge people to read this article. It's incredible detail.
57:17 and it can really be used to educate people about how this is done because we this trickery has got to be much much more widely known all the ammunition is there we just got to burn it yep i agree miss lou go ahead just one last question colonel this is kind of weird but the guy in france who was supposed to sign a contract to assassinate kennedy right right or whatever right
57:41 And he refuses the contract. Right. What kept him alive considering he knew what the plan was? Wouldn't that kind of be signing his own death warrant? Well, yeah, he ends up dying, just so that you know that. Organically? Yeah, no, under mysterious circumstances. But not before he was...
58:09 And I'm recalling this from memory. If I recall correctly, he was having a conversation with another one of the OAS agents, which are their Gladio in France. And he was trying to recruit this other guy to tell him about the contract. And it was the other guy that.
58:38 had a friend, we'll just say that, that was with him that witnessed this entire thing. That person knew a journalist and they recalled the eyewitness of this entire interchange. And that's what was reported in the French newspaper as a revelation that this even happened. And further, to corroborate.
59:08 this whole use of the French connection. When Charles de Gaulle was working with his biographer, he made the comment to his biographer that the same people that had been trying to kill him in France killed JFK. Now, this is a guy who obviously has
59:35 So just so that you guys know, in France, and it was this way in Italy too, anybody that's actually looked into this will tell you this. So I'll use our agencies so that you don't get confused with all of the acronyms. So basically, France has military intelligence. They have basically a CIA. And then they had some what would look like
1:00:04 the Cuban exile community to us, which were their Gladio forces. And most of them had been in the French military at some point. Now, in the French version of the CIA, they were not all bad.
1:00:19 They had good and bad elements. They had people that were very faithful to Charles de Gaulle and wanted him protected. The same is true in the military. He had some very loyal generals because, after all, he was a World War II hero, Charles de Gaulle, General Charles de Gaulle, very much a hero. But in France, you had a lot of fascists, too, that hated de Gaulle because he was more of a nationalist.
1:00:47 Each of these elements that were the bad guys all colluded together and they actually staged a coup against Charles de Gaulle. And the people loved Charles de Gaulle so much that they went to all of their local because they were going to be flying in because a lot of them were hanging out at the time, either in Spain or.
1:01:12 Algeria, they went to all of the airports throughout the entire country and occupied the airport so nobody could land there. So there was a real struggle going on in France during that time. And the OAS, that organization, and the 11th Shock Battalion, which were both elements of their Gladio program, those are the people
1:01:41 that the CIA, and the CIA is the one that offered that contract, by the way, they are the ones that the CIA worked with through NATO, because these were all what was referred to as NATO secret armies. They were all trained by the same people. They were equipped with all of the NATO compatible weaponry. The communication equipment was compatible. It was a very organized entity.
1:02:11 Because they remained embedded in the intelligence agencies, the military and everything else, they were able to have inside information on both sides. So Charles de Gaulle's comment to his biographer that the people behind his repeated over 30 assassinations.
1:02:36 were the exact same people that killed Kennedy. That's what he told his biographer. But he told his biographer that could not be released until after Charles de Gaulle died. And it was not released until after he died. So all along. Yeah, Colonel, I just want to quickly clarify. I used the word ammunition earlier. Of course, I meant that very, very metaphorically.
1:03:09 because of the times we live in. That's kind of dumb of me. But more importantly, I just wanted to say two things about the French stuff in Vietnam. One, our good buddy Desmond Fitzgerald, you know, he was in Southeast Asia for CIA at a high or mid-level position. You know, again, we know he transferred to Cuba in 1962. And then, you know, he dies on a tennis court in 1967.
1:03:38 in an interesting way. Well, you know, his daughter is Francis Fitzgerald. He's on the nation's editorial board. And, you know, just to be fair, it doesn't mean that she is like her dad. I have no idea, you know, but it doesn't necessarily mean that her books are directly causally false or true because of that, obviously. But it's...
1:04:04 You know, it's worth pointing out that Katrina Vanderhevel, some Dutch on the channel, you know, that family is very high up in the nation also. And, you know, she, this key left-wing magazine that really played a key factor in diverting the, quote, left, unquote, from investigating the CIA and both Kennedy assassinations. You know, her money.
1:04:35 Basically, her money comes from none other than MCA, Music Corporation of America, a very good, well-known mafia-linked company connected to the horse's head music industry in Los Angeles and Ronald Reagan. So it's very interesting, the MCA connection to Vander Heuvel and the role played by the nation in telling our quote-unquote left.
1:05:03 what to be sure and never look into. Right. Yeah. Thank you. Yeah, all very interesting ties when you start looking into this and the strings. And just to all along's point, the children and grandchildren of CIA agents and assets.
1:05:33 From my perspective, their original, the children, not the grandchildren, the children, very often of the original cast of characters, very often were in the same line of business. Very, very, very often in the same line of business. The grandchildren, some are and some aren't.
1:05:59 It is very disconnected when you get to that. And I'm talking of the William Colbys and those people, the Wisners and all of those people from back then. A lot of their children were involved in CIA operations, not necessarily as a CIA employee, but in CIA fronts, in corporate security, where is like a liaison with the CIA.
1:06:29 but it's really more hit or miss when you get to the grandchildren. Just from my research. I thought I'd put that out there. Miss Lou, go ahead. And then I've got to run. Yeah, I'll be real quick. You mentioned that Dulles still controlled things after he was gone. Obviously he was very much part of. 100%. Okay. Is our boy Brennan the same way?
1:06:54 Well, that's an interesting question. There would be no reason for you to believe that is not true. Because again, when you're looking inside of the CIA, it is a very, so the way I describe it is you have people at like the GS-11 and lower level. I'm not going to talk about the covert because that's completely different. But the rest of the CIA.
1:07:24 has analysts that come to work. They look at intelligence that are coming in from the field. They compile reports. They have no idea who looks at the reports. They have no idea what the reports look like after they leave their office. And they go home every afternoon. And because they're so compartmentalized,
1:07:47 they may not ever talk to anybody else to see that a completely similar operation being done in their area of responsibility is simultaneously happening in another and it goes sideways and they'll never even know about it. So that's like at the GS 11 and below. When Brennan was initially in, however he got in, at some level based on
1:08:16 And let's just say he's a complete outsider. At some level through personality tests and hoops and that type of thing, he passed a screening level. So he's going to be made a supervisor, then he's going to be a division chief, then he's going to be a branch chief, then he's going to be an assistant director. And whoever is his mentor in...
1:08:41 the CIA is just as, if not more so corrupt than Brennan is, which is how they get promoted. And so at a certain level, about two levels up from the 11, those people are a direct ascendant of whoever groomed them at the higher level. So it would take you generations to ferret out all of the evil.
1:09:11 in the cia because of how hereditarily these people are groomed for these next layers and so when dallas left everybody in the cia was beholden to alan dallas everybody every single last person and so even the lowly analyst was beholding to their boss
1:09:40 Their boss, their boss, their boss, all the way up the chain. So Alan Dulles didn't walk out of the CIA the next day and not be, same way with George H.W. Bush. When Carter decided not to continue him, he didn't go away. He just relocated. And all of the loyalists to Bush.
1:10:07 All of the loyalists to Dulles and all of the loyalists to Brennan still support them. They're still doing inside what they want, regardless of what new director sets at the top. So it is so rotten and it's been so rotten from the very beginning. There is literally no element of the CIA that you could retain.
1:10:40 None. And I'm convinced of it. You have to see the movie The Amateur with Rami Malek. It was done last year or the year before. He plays a low-level CIA analyst whose wife is killed in London in a meeting by an ISIS terror group or whatever. And he starts to figure out the rot within the agency, and he's going to go after it. It's a remake, but it's so fabulous. What's the name of it? The Amateur. Okay.
1:11:05 I'll add it to our new movie night. It's so internal CIA rot. Rami Malek, like I said, he's a computer genius. And he ends up pairing with a woman whose husband was KGB and flipped. And they're trying to figure out what's going on. And it's just great. We will add it to our movie night list. Thank you for recommending that.
1:11:29 You got it. Okay, guys, I got to run. It's dinner night, family dinner night. So I will see you guys back here tonight at four or tomorrow at four o'clock tonight. I will be on the alpha warrior show at nine o'clock. Hope you guys all tune in. Take care, everybody. See you guys later.
