0:00 I do know that they're changing out the way they do their whole, they have a whole bunch of other options that I don't know what any of them mean. I'm sure they're probably going to be important since they're now calling the way I know how to do it legacies. I have a feeling I'm going to have to learn some more clicks here pretty soon. But luckily I'm going to see my daughter this weekend. Hopefully she can walk me through, I can get another checklist.
0:29 on how to do their new and improved version which just basically means clicking a bunch of different buttons so i just want to make sure i don't click the wrong button all right we're in chapter 17 white house hanky panky isn't it weird that there's a whole bunch of posts today about richard nixon and i unfortunately had to correct my buddy brian
0:57 And we're just happened to be running through the whole Richard Nixon stuff in this book. Anyway, just another one of those coincidences. So jumping right in, we're on chapter 17. Never had Richard Nixon's White House staff been so preoccupied with narcotics matters than in the summer of 1971. They were obsessed with two projects.
1:27 The new White House Intelligence Enforcement Unit, envisioned by the Houston plan, and a comprehensive narcotic control apparatus, similarly under direct presidential control. The two converged in a conspiratorial and political criminal network with unimaginable dimensions. That summer, the White House had set up what was called the Special Actions Office.
1:58 for Drug Abuse Prevention alongside the Special Investigation Unit, otherwise known as the Plumbers. So the Plumbers' real name was Special Investigations Unit. Now, if you ask yourself, why in the world would the president be running investigations out of the White House? You have a whole plethora of organizations.
2:28 Maybe those organizations were not trustworthy. Several of the plumbers also worked on the narcotics side because they were part of the narcotics network. A little awkward. This whole thing is so interesting to me. And as I have commented many times to Illini, who was like an expert in the whole early 70s, the Chilean.
3:00 He's done a whole bunch of research, listened to a whole bunch of Nixon tapes. Him and I have talked about this. It's another one of those enigmas that pops itself up that's not easily explainable in the aftermath. Egil, E-G-I-L, Crow, K-R-O-G-H. He's our chief plumber or chief investigator.
3:32 who followed John Ehrlichman, for whose law firm he had actually worked, to the White House in 1968, within months of his graduation from the University of Washington Law School. He was named deputy assistant for the president for law enforcement. Law enforcement? Investigations.
3:58 and within three years found himself in charge of both Nixon's narcotics and law enforcement campaign. He also was appointed to the plumber squad. His single-minded ambition surfaced in the declaration to a noted psychiatrist and narcotics expert, Dr. Daniel Friedman, when the latter refused to support one of his programs.
4:31 Well, this is a quote. Well, don't worry. Anyone who opposes us will destroy, he told him. As a matter of fact, anyone who doesn't support us will be sorry. Crow would wind up in jail for the break-in at the office of Daniel Ellsberg, psychiatrist Dr. Lewis Fieldings. Walter Minnick
5:02 was a on-again, off-again temporary plumber. He was a graduate of Harvard Business School. Oh, look at that. He went from Harvard Business School to the CIA and then joins the plumbers in 1971. He also was a co-author of the
5:34 change from the BNDD to the DEA that was immediately corrupted. John Caulfield, a plumber, was a former agent of the New York City Police Department, Bureau of Special Services, BOSS. And depending on who you talk to, that was a very corrupt organization as well and very entangled in the FBI. They specialized in narcotics.
6:08 not necessarily cleaning them up. They also had a specialty of surveilling what they deemed terrorist organizations. So surveillance. In 1960 presidential campaign, he had been assigned to protect candidate Nixon in New York City. He also had a close relationship with Nixon's personal secretary, Rosemary Woods. Miles Ambrose.
6:46 Another plumber. He was a former customs commissioner. You know, customs is the one that is required not to find all the narcotics that are coming in and out. That kind of customs commissioner. He was named head of the narcotics campaign, Domestic Strike Force. That sounds official. G. Gordon Liddy.
7:16 Ma'am, I hate to interrupt you, but you may want to reset the space because it looks like a bunch of them over in the chat on Rumble that are here on X are having trouble hearing you. Okay. Does that make sense? Yep. Fun show today. Okay. Is that better? Hopefully. Okay. Hopefully. Okay. We'll see. Okay. Thank you. All right. G. Gordon Liddy. Prior.
8:02 former FBI agent, whose narcotics intelligence job was at the Treasury Department. It had been terminated only a week prior to his recruitment into the plumber's squad. He was a lobbyist against gun control legislation. Eventually, he would get six to 20 years for his role in the break-in.
8:36 And one to three years for his job of the break-in of the psychiatrist's office. And then we have one of our favorite guys, E. Howard Hunt. He himself, a CIA agent, closely connected to the entire Gladio Cuban exile community, many of whom worked.
9:09 in the actual narcotics network in the United States. He knew who all of them were, and he's supposedly occupying a position on an anti-narcotics squad. Hunt was employed as a special advisor, and his area of expertise, you'll never guess it, was a golden triangle where he had helped set the network up.
9:41 In November of 73, Judge John Sirica would sentence him to two and a half to eight years, reduced from an initial 35 years for the Washington break-in. Then there's Lucian Koenig, another CIA agent, Ed Lansdale's right-hand man in Vietnam, and an expert on narcotics.
10:09 Because he was involved in the Corsican one as well as the CIA one. Do you get the idea that they may not be there to do anti-narcotics? E. Howard Hunt is the one that brought Koenig into this unit. Then we also have David Young. David Young was a young attorney who had put up a sign outside of his office. Doctor, or excuse me.
10:42 doctor mr young comma plumber that that was his name on the outside of his door because he was told he was going to be working on plugging leaks he came to this staff from none other than henry kissinger's national security council which is where the cia loves to sheep dip their agents hunt and liddy
11:18 were located in room 16 of the executive office building headquarters for the plummets plumbers secret narcotic mission they also worked on the committee to re-elect the president which acronym stands for creep they were a bunch of creeps the plumbers first assignment was the break-in to daniel ellsberg's psychiatrist for the break in dirty work
11:56 Hunt enlisted Bernard Barker, Eugenio Rolando Martinez, Felipe D. Diego, three of his Cuban friends who had been involved with him in the Bay of Pigs. Martinez and D. Diego also took part in Operation 40, which was a CIA operation that entailed more boat raids on Cuba.
12:30 death squad that doesn't sound gladio-ish at all was well on its way hunt sought out barker in miami for what hunt called a new national security organization above and beyond and a combination of the cia and fbi barker would assemble a force of 120 cia trained cuban exiles
13:03 for what was called Operation Diamond, which, under cover of narcotics enforcement, would kidnap and assassinate political enemies. Barker was only too happy to sign up for this mission. In the fall of 71, Hunt asked another of his Cuban friends, Manuel R. Time, to set up hit teams for the liquidation of targets.
13:34 As later revealed, our time's primary target was to have been the Pandemanian strongman, General Omar Torregos. Crowe and his staff, meanwhile, tightened their grip on narcotics control. After the BNDD takeover of Customs International Jurisdiction, Crowe pushed Bureau Chief John Ingersoll for results to feed Congress and the press.
14:05 Get those Corsican Mafia guys so we can get us some success stories. In September of 71, Crow was named to direct the newly formed Cabinet Committee on International Narcotics Control. They're definitely going to establish control. In collaboration with the State Department, BNDD, CIA, and Kissinger's office, the committee coordinated the international operation.
14:38 The State Department narcotics advisor was Nelson Gross. He was chosen to supervise several joint actions. He was later sentenced to two years for attempted bribery and income tax evasion. What was he getting money for not paying taxes on undeclared? Working on narcotics. Crowe was less than satisfied with
15:10 the initial efforts, especially those of the CIA, whose intelligence reports, according to Ingersoll, were decisive for the work that they needed to have done. Did he not know that the CIA is not going to be telling them what they're doing? Nixon's staff would then decide which drug traffickers to pursue. Crowe's dissatisfaction was expressed to Hunt.
15:39 who immediately proposed an Office of National Narcotics Intelligence, where all narcotics intelligence reports would be analyzed firsthand. Hunt told Crowe he could enlist for the office experienced using, you guessed it, CIA people, starting with Lucian Koenig. Let's get the CIA to oversee the CIA.
16:11 Sounds like a wonderful plan. Nixon, however, decided he wanted William Sullivan. Once second to J. Edgar Hoover in the FBI, Sullivan had managed Division 5, which unfortunately, whether he knew it or not, Division 5 was basically the sheep-dipped CIA people in the FBI. You can't get away from them. He also directed Operation...
16:45 Co-Intel Pro, which of course was the spying on all of us, the Bureau's vendetta against the people that they didn't like inside the United States, and had been Nixon's choice to direct the Houston Plan's elaborate surveillance of U.S. citizens. Darn it. Yeah, we definitely need that guy in charge of a White House office.
17:17 under the guise of anti-narcotics, to be surveilling everybody in the United States. Hunt found a niche for his friend. Koenig was assigned to the BNDD as a strategic intelligence officer and came to control overseas narcotics intelligence, originally the domain of the Office of Narcotics Intelligence.
17:47 while Sullivan concentrated on domestic. The White House now controlled narcotics intelligence at home and abroad, but that wasn't enough. Nixon's staff also sought to control the enforcement, and that required a strike force. In January of 1972, the White House set up an office for drug abuse law enforcement called ODAL, O-D-A-L-E.
18:19 According to a plan conceived by Gordon Liddy, it became the domestic strike force under Miles Ambrose. And just so that you know, he was part of a subset of MKUltra using drugs as part of their experiments.
18:52 So that's the guy you want to have in charge of your strike force, of course. His government career ended with the news of his pleasure trip to a ranch in Texas, indicted for narcotics and gun running. I'm just going to let that hang there for a minute. You literally can't make this shit up. Okay. Odell soon became notorious for its record of illegal, illegal raids. No knock entries.
19:32 into private homes, beatings of innocent people, leading to it being labeled the American Gestapo. Doesn't this sound exactly like the programs, given a much milder version, because at least we don't have any record right now of them killing anybody, but this is exactly what they did in every one of these foreign countries during the initial stages, right? Now they end up doing no knocks and killing people.
20:01 We do get to that stage, obviously. But this is the beginning of it. These are the same people that set up the Phoenix program. This is just Phoenix Light in America. Under the guise of a bunch of narcotic smugglers posing as government workers, setting up an anti-narcotics thing, and then implementing Phoenix Light. Overseas, the White House was
20:35 unsatisfied with the speed at which things were happening. So Dr. J. Thomas Underlighter, a member of the National Commission on Marijuana and Drug Abuse, noted in a record of his conversation with BNDD officials, quote, there was some talk about establishing hit squads and assassination teams, as they are said to have in South America.
21:03 It was stated that 150 key assassinations, the entire heroin refining operation, can be thrown into chaos. Officials say it is known exactly who is involved in all of these operations. Unquote. Well, they sure did, because it's them, and they're going to use this, of course. This is the preliminary part of the whole Corsican Mafia takedown.
21:29 Hunt, Liddy, and other Room 16 people did not confine themselves to narcotic campaigns and political assassinations. On behalf of Creep, they raised campaign funds from more or less shady sources and sabotaged the campaigns of George Wallace, Hubert Humphrey, Edmund Muskie, and George McGovern. Hunt's CIA colleagues are among those who suspect
21:58 that he spiked Muskie's lemonade with LSD prior to the candidate's famous tearful speech. Definitely makes you wonder. Besides Hunt's Cubans, Cuban exiles, Frank Sturgis, who we know worked for Traficani, took on narcotics work and special assignments from Creep. According to a 1972 FBI report,
22:35 Sources in Miami had claimed that Sturgis was then associated with organized crime, because he was. He later told an interviewer that he had aided Hunt in a 1971 investigation of the drug traffic reaching the U.S., specifically from Paraguay, which would be the French Connection. He was in on several actions connected with that investigation, which focused exclusively
23:07 on Auguste Record and Grupo Francis, the Corsican Mafia. Sturgis was everywhere in this hectic spring 1972 timeframe. In May, he was among the men who had assaulted Daniel Ellsberg on the steps of the Capitol. Later that month, he and his Cuban exile buddies, including Bernard Barker, arranged for a Miami demonstration.
23:38 in support of Nixon's decision to mine Hai Phong Harbor in Vietnam. Sturgis himself was at the wheel of a truck leading the procession. He helped recruit agitators to disrupt many Democratic gatherings to include the Democratic National Convention. And on June 17th, Watergate break-in Sturgis joined CIA and Traficani Cuban exiles.
24:12 and White House narcotic conspirators. So he joined their group. As was noted, a Berkeley researcher, Peter Dale Scott, one of my all-time heroes, wrote, quote, in my opinion, it is no coincidence that the key figures in Watergate, Liddy, Hunt, Sturgis, Crow, Caulfield, had been drawn from the world of government narcotics, a shady realm in which
24:44 operations of organized crime, counter-revolution, and government intelligence traditionally overlapped by a lot. In July of 73, Nixon's narcotic forces were essentially consolidated according to a reorganization plan number two, worked out by former CIA agent Walter Minnick and Egil Crow. The DEA was formed.
25:16 out of and basically the result of the BNDD Odell and ONNI's consolidation. So all of the dirty trick squads of Nixon was the foundational creation of the DEA. And they brought in customs intelligence too. So now DEA had a lock on the entire network.
25:48 4,000 operatives, including 50 CIA agents, many of them Cuban exiles, 500 custom agencies, and basically the entire BNDD became the brand new DEA. You literally have CIA running the narcotics network around the world and Cuban exiles.
26:20 who are basically CIA-trained narcotics experts, meaning they're part of the network, not part of the solution, as the foundation of the DEA. It's just incredible. Ingersoll of the BNDD, Ambrose of Odell, and Sullivan of ONNI all resigned. James R.
26:54 Bartles became the first DEA director. He had no small task. The strange brew of agents, meaning narcotics experts, with different backgrounds, assignments, blah, blah, blah, made it impossible to steer, almost like by design. The U.S. Narcotics Enforcement has a history of corruption, scandal,
27:27 and exposure where they become the criminals. And that's not going to change. No bureau has been plagued by more scandals than the DEA in the first seven years of their existence. Oh my gosh, you started out with criminals. What would you expect? The exposés and charges ran the gamut from trafficking and drugs. I'm sorry.
28:05 teamwork with the mob, and protection of major trafficking. It also includes theft of drugs, gun running, torture, and assassination of people they didn't like. So we set up basically the death squads that we set up in every other country. We set them up in America and just called it the DEA.
28:35 That's what we're describing because that's exactly what all of those, the Colombian cartel, that's what they are. We set it up in the DEA. That's what the El Salvadoran death squads were doing. They're the narcotics traffickers and they just kill anybody that gets in their way. We set it up in the DEA. When Lucian Koenig became the head of the DEA special operations branch, Mr. CIA.
29:08 He allegedly carried out an assassination program after setting up the DEA's Special Operations Group under cover of the BR Fox Company. Now, we're going to do a lot more on, you're going to hear a lot more about this BR Fox Company. BR Fox Company is a very interesting entity and is,
29:40 largely covered in this book called Spooks, which we're going to be doing a few shows on Alpha's show about D.R. Fox, B.R. Fox. It was housed on Connecticut Avenue in Washington, D.C. This is where the Dirty Dozen comes from. I was talking about it on Alpha's show on Wednesday.
30:11 was going to make up the core of this special unit in the DEA. But they didn't even work in the DEA proper. They were put up in this special building that they shared with BR Fox Company. They were all experienced Latino CIA agents transferred over from the CIA.
30:41 Prior to their assignment at the DEA SOG, Koenig had set up another DEA intelligence operation, Deacon One. Deacon One employed Cuban exile veterans of CIA terrorist training camps who were supervised by 30 other Cubans, all formerly of the CIA clandestine services.
31:12 again if anybody had any doubt of what i said three years ago that the cuban exiles were the gladio for the united states you absolutely cannot have any doubt about that assessment at all in response to the claim that the dea sog was a hit team koenig told journalist george creel that's a big lie that is bull however a dea official had told creel
31:44 When you get down to it, Koenig organization was an assassination program. Not unlike all of the other assassination programs they'd set up in every other country. Why would we be any different? He was frustrated by the big time operators who were just too insulated to get to. DEA officials also told Krill that meetings were held to decide whom to target.
32:14 and what method of assassination to employ. You mean they had a kill list like they had in every other country? Koenig then assigned the task to three of the former CIA operatives assigned to the Dirty Dozen squad located with B.R. Fox Company. This is where it gets really interesting. Who did this DEA SOG?
32:48 share an office with. Oh, there was E. Howard Hunt that hung out there. And a special friend of all of theirs, none other than Mitch Warbell III. Yeah, yeah. He worked with this B.R. Fox company a lot. As a matter of fact, this B.R. Fox company had a special catalog.
33:20 that they produced and it was a really weird catalog it wasn't like a normal catalog that had like prices on it it had some codes in it and it sold some very unique things like surveillance equipment that had explosive capability and it had a whole bunch of different explosive things and really weird things like
33:49 ballpoint pens and lapel pins and all kinds of weird explosive devices. And of course, Warbell Special, his pistol machine gun with a silencer. Warbell told Krill he had been a business partner of Koenig's and that he and Koenig had worked together.
34:19 on providing the DEA with assassination devices. See how easy, how convenient that is to have a death squad co-located with a company that sells all that shit. Among Warbill's other associates were Frank Sturgis and Robert Vesco. The same Robert Vesco that wants to set up a manufacturing place in Costa Rica to manufacture all this shit. Vesco.
34:50 like warble himself had been charged with bankrolling narcotic smuggling weird so we're getting all the narcotic guys together putting them under the dea as cover it's brilliant absolutely brilliant carlos hernandez um rumbot the bodyguard of vesco's close friend and business partner and former costa rican president
35:21 Pepe Figueres. He was a former Koenig agent who fled the country to avoid imprisonment on a drug conviction charge. He has reportedly re-entered the U.S. at least several times, weirdly using a U.S. diplomat passport as a convicted felon who skipped town.
35:55 See how important it is to have customs in your little secret organization? Assassinations became the modus operandi under Richard Nixon. The CIA carried out assassinations and extermination campaigns in Vietnam, Guatemala, Argentina, Brazil. We eventually do it in Chile, thanks to Richard Nixon. This is, by the way, Operation Condor.
36:31 The White House appears to have sponsored a secret assassination program undercover of DEA. It was continued and overlapped CIA operations. Now, there cannot be any doubt when you know the history of the DEA that Kiki Camaras was assassinated by our own people, at least in collaboration.
37:07 how to torture people, how to kidnap the people so you can assassinate them or torture them. And members of Latin American death squads came under the auspices of CIA and USAID's Office of Public Safety. You know, that organization that feeds all the starving children has a death squad that tortures people. I know that's shocker, but some 100,000 Brazilian policemen, for example, were trained.
37:39 And 100,000 trained to do this shit of at least 500 plus were brought to the United States for further training. So they're getting most of their training through places like School of Americas and all that crap down there and programs that were set up in country.
38:06 But the graduates, the ones that are going to go on to bigger and better things like lead these organizations, they got to come to the United States and get special training to how to manage the torturers and the assassins. They were trained at the International Police Academy in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. at a secret CIA center under the cover of International Police Services, Inc.
38:36 which was lock, stock and barrel, a CIA front company. Weird how you would bring these assassins into the nation's capital to give them advanced training. When the school was out, when school was out, the pupils returned home. Besides CIA advisors and torture experts, they also learned
39:11 effective repression operations. Many moonlighted on the death squads. After Tupamari's kidnapped and killed U.S. police advisor Dan Mederone in Uruguay, Washington School for Foreign Police came into the limelight. It was Albert as a CIA front. Congress cut their funding. You know, kind of like they cut the funding for School of Americas when it just went and got named something else and they moved.
39:43 in that case to Fort Benning, same thing. The training program with direct assistance and supervision just kept right on going. They don't give a shit because they don't work for them. A 1976 investigation authorized by Senator James Aberich revealed that U.S. torture academies had not in fact been shut down. According to Jack Anderson,
40:13 He found that such a school had been in operation since 1974 in Los Fernos, Texas. If you will recall, that's their bomb school. It's not the run of the mill torture or assassination class. That's where they teach you how to blow shit up. Another journalist, William Hoffman, later confirmed the existence of a school for torture.
40:43 located there as well. That's where they moved it to temporarily. Orwellian Lee named it Law Enforcement Training Center. The Law Enforcement Training Center was teaching people how to be torturers. Koenig's friend Warbell runs his own large training center called The Farm, like the CIA's farm. It's called The Farm.
41:22 They referred to it as the Farm South. And weirdly enough, it's located right outside of Fort Benning where they moved School of Americas. And I'm sure that's a coincidence as well. And yes, he was doing the same kind of training there. Much of the police support apparatus was simply transferred to USAID's International Narcotics Control Program, initials INC.
41:59 In 1974, the DEA had some 400 agents in Latin America, or roughly the number of advisors recalled from the Office of Public Safety program. Oh, oh, so we just renamed it and redeployed the same guys? Oh.
42:24 oh so office of public safety had about 400 we're going to close that down and then we're going to set up this brand new thing that has nothing to do with what we were just doing except for it has all the same people um and a new name yes that's what we're doing here oh my gosh the politics of the new drug effort were exposed when in 1974
42:53 The man behind Argentina's death squad, the AAA, Social Minister López Rega, appeared on television with the U.S. Ambassador Robert Hill to publicize the two nations' anti-narcotics collaboration. With the words, quote, Gorillas are the main users of drugs in Argentina. Therefore, the anti-drug campaign will automatically be an anti-gorilla campaign as well.
43:23 unquote. So they're killing the quote unquote gorillas, which aren't gorillas at all. They're normal civilians that don't want to live under a dictator, especially one controlled by the CIA. So we are going to call them gorillas. And we're going to say the drug thing that we're running over here completely separate from them being pissed off at us because we suck.
43:52 We're going to say this shit that we're doing in the drugs. They're doing it, not us, them. And then we can kill them not only because they're quote unquote gorillas, but they're druggy gorillas, which is kind of exactly what we've done everywhere. We accuse them of what we're doing and then we unleash hell on them. It's striking how close the various.
44:25 extermination and repression campaigns happened parallel to the narcotics traffic. The Hmong army deployed by the CIA in Laos smuggled opium. Lopez Rega and his AAA henchmen were eventually exposed as a cocaine ring. Not the guerrillas, but the guy sitting there telling you.
44:55 The guerrillas were smuggling campaign cocaine. One of the chief AAA hatchet men, Franco Chiapi, was a lieutenant for Record and Christian David's Heroin Network. Paraguay's most ruthless high-ranking officers were also exposed as narcotic traffickers.
45:21 Christian David took part in an extermination campaign in Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay. You know, like he's a Gladio guy. One of the operation chiefs, Sergei Fleury, and several of his colleagues pocketed large protection payoffs. Fleury's number two man in Sao Paulo, Desquad, a guy by the name of Augusto de Oliveira,
45:57 fled to Paraguay after he was charged with murder. There, under a different name, Bruno da Silva, he worked with the Record gang. When David's successor, the Brazilian narcotics dealer Milton Conclave, Thiago, was arrested in 75, it was learned that he had been paying off the entire Rio de Janeiro death squad, which included four narcotics police.
46:28 lieutenants running drugs to pay for death squads and all of the other covert operations it sounds just like gladio and finally the author learned that dictator pinochet assumed control of chile's cart uh cocaine trade then turned it over to his secret police dina same model different country and they shared their profits with
47:03 All of the people that are inside the United States running this entire thing, Traficani, the Cuban exiles, all of the people that hang out with this brand new ground floor DEA special unit. The political violence set in motion by the White House narcotics offices ran very smoothly, but there wasn't any drug enforcement of any note. From its inception,
47:34 It had focused exclusively on dismantling the French narcotics network. And when that was done, America was in control of both the heroin and cocaine networks. The Turkey-Marsai U.S. heroin pipeline was indeed shut down and the French Corsican mafia was decimated. But hallelujah, the CIA is rejoicing.
48:05 in all of these efforts because now they're in the driver's seat along with their best buds in the DEA. And that's it for today. Just insane. Same people, same process, different timeframe. Same playbook over and over and over again. Needs to be buried under nuclear waste.
48:42 It is very interesting, I think, to understand some of the origins of how this whole thing was set up. And it explains when we, you know, when we read other books, when they were talking about how complicit the DEA was in working with not all DEA, just...
49:10 everybody that allowed to flourish in the DEA, how the DEA, the CIA, the ambassador in the whole arrangement. So this is early 70s. This is going to roll right into Iran-Contra, obviously. This is the foundation that we're setting. And then 10 years later, when we get to the Reagan administration, you have.
49:37 All of this network set up where the DEA is in bed with the CIA and the FBI and the DEA and FBI is basically working out of the CIA in Costa Rica to set up the whole drugs for weapons program in that area, especially in El Salvador.
50:04 Which is growing its own set of death squads, which we all know eventually turns into MS-13. And it's just mind boggling. And the one guy every once in a while in these stories, there'll be one guy, one guy that starts going, holy shit, holy shit. These people are corrupt.
50:28 They're running drugs over there. And all of these Americans are going in and out of there. And they're part of the operation. And he starts, you know, squawking, sending messages and everything. Well, he just gets relieved. He gets moved. And he sits at a desk. Most of them don't say anything. They retire and maybe 10 years later. The very few that once they catch on, that they're the bad guys. If they talk, they die.
50:59 And we've got plenty of examples of that. Why are you so mad? Go ahead. Why are you so mad? Hello? Can you hear me, Bridget? Yes, ma'am, I can. She must be maybe stepped away. Oh, there she is. Oh, no, she's back to listening. Let me try and throw her a mic again. Okay. And see what happens. Maybe some technical difficulties. It seems they're right today.
51:44 Yeah. You wouldn't think by this time Spaces would have this figured out. I mean, I don't expect much from anybody unless they're making a profit. And so far, it's free. You know? But that's just... Yep. Alright. Well, if we don't have anything else, I'm going to... Go ahead, Warhamster. No, I was just cracking up this show. I caught most of it. Go back to 1947. We've got the...
52:25 obvious ban on the CIA from operating domestically. And all they did was use their own CIA people and create a whole new department so they could do exactly what they would have done if they were allowed to operate domestically. It seems to me it'd be one of the easiest shell games to prosecute if there was any will whatsoever to do so. Well, we obviously know there wasn't because all of their fronts were exposed in 1975 and they didn't do a thing to them.
52:55 Yeah, well, there's still no will to do it. I mean, as much as we know what the CIA did, you know, in terms of returning the Trump election in 2016, everything they've done since, there's no will in D.C. whatsoever to do it. Well, they're scared to shitless about it. That's exactly right. Yeah, you're not allowed to have a will. Or if you do, you need a will. I guess the thing I'm thinking about is, you know, what the hell can be done about it?
53:29 I can't say for online what I'm thinking right now. Because this shows for entertainment purposes only. I'll go back to what you say. It's got to get worse before it gets better. People have to get mad. Enough people have to get mad about it to actually do something about it. But it does bug the hell out of me. Because this is some legislative of 1947. And I've read extensively on how the arguments went down for the National Security Act of 1947.
54:00 And this is a pinky swear. We will not operate domestically, period. And that's the only reason the NSA even got across the finish line. So to me, that would be one of the easiest legislative fix, assuming that there was any kind of congressional will to do anything about it, which, of course, there is not. But in the fantasy land where we have honest politicians, it should be a slam dunk to shut down the CIA. Just for this, everything you talked about today alone. Yep. Just that. Just that.
54:28 It's an obvious breach of their entire charter. I agree. 100%. I was going to say, you just don't have to catch them in all the other shit they've done. This alone is reason enough to understand you've got a rogue agency and have for six decades. Yes, I agree. Renee, go ahead. Hey, good afternoon, everyone. I'm driving and about to go through a void, so you may lose me.
54:57 Great show today, this chapter, and also great show, Warhamster and Colonel, for the Rumble show. I think I need to watch it again to really absorb a lot of information. I like your charts also, Warhamster. I have a question, please. What is the Protarian Guard? What do you call these bastards? Praetorian Guard.
55:27 Thank you. Okay. What is the difference between like a minion and a Praetorian guard? Would you call the bankers Praetorian guards? No. So the Praetorian guard is the forces that are deployed to protect the oligarch class. They are what stands between the oligarch class and the peons. And that certainly describes the CIA.
55:58 they are what stand so and and this is a great example of these death squads so we got a bunch of peons out here and you've got the oligarchs and when just like they were talking about in um south america if the peons don't like the oligarch class in a country they um create this aaa cia whatever
56:24 They create the death squads and they go take out the peons that dare to speak up. And then the oligarchs are free to go about and do whatever else they want to do. And it is not until the peons all say, fuck it. We don't give a shit about your Praetorian guards. We're going to go in. We're going to figure out how to outmaneuver you. And we're going to kill all of you. And until that revolution happens, which is in fact what happened.
56:54 in cuba um with a little help from the cia until that happens um the victorian guard guards the oligarchs if i may colonel the reason i love that term so much is because historically the original victorian guard was in rome and by the second century a.d the victorian guard had toppled three or four caesars just because they weren't doing what the victorian guard wanted
57:22 So we'll protect you, Caesar, as long as you do what we want. They actually become a seat of power behind the scenes. And that's really, really apropos to what we're seeing today or what some of the attempts have been. The head of state ends up being the puppet for the guard. And same thing, they had a very similar model like that in China for hundreds of years. And that's the danger of a Praetorian guard. They have, in effect, up until Trump, in my opinion,
57:51 had a figurehead sitting in the presidency that was impotent. They had no authority. The oligarchs had bought and paid for them on their way in. They sat on a throne. And the CIA carried out the oligarchs' foreign policy, whether anybody liked it or not. Yeah, if you guys want some fun homework assignment, go look up some real research on the real history of the Praetorian Guard in Rome. And they toppled.
58:22 The DMCs are multiple times and, you know, who's making their decisions? It's all behind closed curtains, everything like that. So it's a really, really good term for what the colonel is describing because we've seen that. They killed JFK. They took out Nixon. It's the right term. I've used it for years and I 100% agree with its use. It's absolutely apropos. Go ahead, Renee. Okay. Thank you for clarifying.
58:51 Yeah, because I'm starting to see, recognizing all the patterns with the different, I guess, spokes in the wheel, the spider webs on the web. And I found an interesting...
59:06 Guy, you posted yesterday responding to Data Republican, and you were talking about Nicholas Berggruen, and he has this institute called the Berggruen Institute. Isn't that interesting? Oh, my goodness. This guy's whole life is interesting. But you kind of see, you know, yeah, he went to the private boarding school in Switzerland, et cetera, so forth.
59:33 And his whole life, and Warhamster, you'll probably recognize the names I'm about to say. Like in the early 80s, of course, he had a trust fund, you know, he was a trust fund kid. And he started his own like private equity, hedge fund, yada, yada in New York City. He was hobnobbing around Paul Tudor Jones and Louis Bacon and those kind of guys. All right. So he does really well.
1:00:01 Then he starts a firm or whatever with this guy, Julio Santo Domingo, who is a child, another trust fund kid in 88, of Julio Mario Santo Domingo from Colombia, super elite. Sure, he was part of the shadow government in Colombia.
1:00:29 They end up selling that to the Safra Bank. Yes. Then he, you know, he's doing really well, becomes a billionaire really fast. So you kind of see, you know, he's in the right club and he's got the right connections. But then it's kind of, you wonder, because he seems to be a free spirit and dances to his own tune.
1:00:58 And but then he starts doing being affiliated with these institutes like the Berggruen Institute and these think tanks and everything. And so it's kind of like, I guess, do you think that these kind of guys at some point along the way or before they're on their way to being a billionaire?
1:01:26 Someone's like, look, we will let you be a billionaire and give you all the connections. But at some point, you got to you got to do this for us. You know, I got to create. What do you think? I think we've proven that the whole private equity thing is in many respects a money laundering because that's the whole private piece of that. So you put all of this money.
1:01:52 in and then it gets invested and then it comes back it's it's the perfect laundering i mean that's what the whole carlisle group was about um and it's the perfect setup for this when when we a long time ago i mean several years ago when we were going back through all of the darpa handoff of quote unquote technology and the silicon valley and all that other stuff there's an agreement that they will take these people and basically
1:02:21 I don't believe for a minute this guy was ever a free spirit, by the way. I think that he's cultivated into this arrangement and that when you especially when you look at the Battelle Institute and DARPA with all of this technology piece of it, they are told that they have to set up a foundation and that they can have this amount of the well.
1:02:49 to keep up the story of being a billionaire. And the foundation is part of funding these operations. Ronald, can I weigh in on private equity? Sure. I don't know if everybody knows this, but I've worked in private equity for most of the last decade and worked adjacent to them for 10 years prior. I've known some very successful entrepreneurs that are pretty darn honest people. The private equity scenario.
1:03:22 is a system that allows, it's pure capitalism on its surface. The colonel's correct that a lot of the dirty groups use that mechanism to launder money and to make, you know, you do insider trading and stuff like that. It's a really tax-efficient vehicle and stuff like that. So what I think what you're talking about, like Wall Street itself, the foundations of Wall Street, is a pretty pure capitalist system. It just gets manipulated by those who have, you know, their fingers on the levers.
1:03:51 control and that's how they do they make themselves they have to they have to maintain the appearance of legitimacy by allowing honest people to succeed same thing with banking same thing with banking in general yeah and so i guess my point is it's the system itself isn't the problem it's what happens behind the scenes when they get control regular regulatory control what if they if you've got something that they want
1:04:18 They have ways of manipulating. They can cut off your access to capital in two seconds. And that's the big one. Because just having a billion dollars, you either sit there and sail off to the sunset or you try to keep growing something. And when you want to keep growing something, now they realize that you've got assets. You may have power or access that they want access to or some kind of technology. And they have means of forcing you into being in control. And it's very hard to resist that once you become a target.
1:04:47 Of the world's billionaires, I'd say almost half of them probably made it legitimately. It's the other ones we've got to worry about. Yep, absolutely. It's wolf in sheep's clothing. The whole system that we have, the regulatory, it was mostly set up by the Netherlands and then England, and we borrowed the same capitalist system. Most of it is, most of the people that operate it are very honest and very legitimate. Just not the people that have their fingers on the controls. And that's the problem.
1:05:17 Yep. Go ahead, Renee. Yeah. So how would we categorize these banker minions who shuffle their money and give birth to their think tanks, think tanks and stuff? Because we've got the proletarian guard and terror and torturers. And I mean, even there was I found I came across.
1:05:44 The Giving Pledge, it's called. I guess it was started by the Gates, Melinda, Bill Gates, Yada Yada Foundation. And that list of people under that in the guise of philanthropy is, you know, all the regular suspects are on that. And then the grand finale of this guy's journey so far is that he bought...
1:06:12 A property in Beverly Hills, which was a Hurst, Randolph Hurst property that, you know, for like $60 million or something crazy like that. And this house was actually the house. They filmed a scene from The Godfather in it. And for those who've seen The Godfather, I don't know if you remember the part.
1:06:39 where there was a producer that they were trying, the mafia was trying to keep in check, and he had some racehorses, and to keep him in check, they cut off one of his racehorses, or one of his Pride and Joy horses, they cut off the head and put it in his bed with him. So he woke up to his horse's head in the bed. That was filmed at this Hearst house that now Nicholas Berggruen owns.
1:07:05 wild and it's all in full circle all in bed together all in cahoots yep yep all right anybody else all right the chat has been lively thank you guys for um being here rumble locals youtube grow that audience share these things out um this is probably a perfect um show
1:07:42 To share out so people understand that these organizations that are set up under the auspices of the government are not what they appear to be. So with that, we're going to close this week. We will likely finish the book next week. And I'm going to try. I've been equipped.
1:08:11 with how it's all supposed to work, a movie night tonight. So watch for the notice. I probably will start that around 7.30 or 8 o'clock tonight for those of you who want to join us over on the premium side so we can finish that requirement out over on Rumble tonight. So take care, everybody. Have a nice weekend. Okay, see you guys later.
