And because I have the free time to read these books and kind of go over the juicy parts of them and provide that information to y'all in a video format, which saves me time. I was typing everything out. Those of you that's been with me this whole time.

So with that said, we're going to jump in. We left in the middle of chapter 16, which is a very long chapter because it's talking about campaigns.

3:23 This is obviously about politics. So there's a lot of campaign information. We are up to the point of China Gate. I did post a long thread today. And if y'all haven't read it, we will go over it as part of the review of this chapter. So China Gate basically in a nutshell is going to deal with the same people because we're building on the people we've already been introduced to.

3:53 a couple of new ones during this part of the book. But obviously it has to do with Clinton, both Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton and their staff. And most of us were alive when this was happening. I happen to have been in D.C. during most of the Clinton administration.

And the first part of it, as a matter of fact, I even went to the, I'm not on the infamous visitors book, but I actually got to go to the White House several times because I had friends working there. So anyway, this is going to pull in all of the people that was from the Arkansas clan as they

4:59 for campaigning initially, and then for re-election. And the kind of gate really had to do more with the re-election aspect. And so Whitney starts off with Mark Middleton and his boss, Mark McLarty, Thomas, or excuse me, Mac McLarty. So he went by Mac.

5:34 McCarty initially was Clinton's chief of staff, and then he was moved over to be a counselor to the president, which is basically a special advisor. And he was also appointed special envoy for the Americas, which is very important because remember at the time, we know what was going on in Central America at the time, all of the drug networking. And so this tells you what the MENA airport drug smuggling operation and then McCarty.

6:03 already coming from that Arkansas into the White House. And then he is appointed a special envoy to the Americas. That has everything to do with that. You've got Gladio operations going on down there where they're deposing residents. They're having coups. They're setting up new drug networks. And there was a lot of competition at the time.

6:29 in the drug networking where Mossad was trying to take over some of the routes that the CIA had already established when they moved the operation to South America from Vietnam. So a lot of stuff going on that we've learned from our other book that's not in this book. So that kind of sets the tone for what McCarty and Middleton are in the middle of. So Middleton had a huge role in the 1992 election.

7:02 for fundraising. He was a big funder. Epstein visited the White House 15 times after his attendance at the September 1993 donor reception. And remember, the donor reception was for the remodeling of the White House. In 1994, he was notably visited by the White House twice in one day.

7:35 during three separate trips. The 1994 meetings appeared to have been with Middleton and other individuals working with the staff's office, namely Karen Ewing. So she also had signed Epstein in a couple of times, but she made sure that everybody knew that she was doing it for Mark Middleton. One of Middleton's main duties was being

8:10 in contact with prominent businessmen and contributors to the president. He was a bundler. He had this huge Black Book of Contacts. And Middleton did appear in Epstein's Black Book of Contacts. Middleton is said to have raised over $4 million for Clinton's first presidential campaign.

8:46 He also controversially kept using his White House contact information even after he was long gone. He would hand out cards to people he met, kind of flaunting the fact that he had that access. So Middleton was closely associated with Johnny Hung, the guy that we talked about before.

9:11 and raised millions of dollars that were basically illegal from the Chinese government. One of the fundraising sources would later tell the FBI that Middleton had received tens of thousands of dollars from him prior to Middleton's departure from the White House. A scandal over the 1996 election financing, Middleton fled the Fifth on 28 occasions during his testimony and raised the question if he was it.

Their relationship ties back to corrupt power base that helped Clinton first become the governor, and she's talking about the Hung guy, H-U-A-N-G, being deeply involved in the Jackson-Stevens, which was the financial aspect of that, the systematic, which was part of...

10:17 The software that Jackson Stephen and his bank was selling all over the world so they could spy on people. The Riotti family is tied into that. The Lippo group, which we talked about along several chapters ago, the L-I-P-P-O group, which is the Riotti group. Both the Riotti dad and son, all part of this whole political.

10:44 They had ties to the BCCI, the Arkansas Development Finance Authority. I'm just trying to give you the breadth of how big this monster is. Hung had been a career banker in places like American Security Bank in D.C. He then moves to Kentucky. He then moves to Louisville. Then he moves to Memphis.

11:12 He comes in contact with the World Finance Corporation, which we talked about before. And that's a guy by the name of Valermo Hernandez-Cardia. And he establishes a Panama-based bank called Unibank. And when you start getting into these people that set up these basically front companies, front banks.

11:39 You know, immediately they're tied to drug trafficking and organized crime, which this guy was. And you spell his last name, C-A-R-T-A-Y-A. And his company is World Finance Corporation. So they also had ties to savings and loans and ties to Clinton's first treasury secretary, Lloyd Benson.

12:08 There's another bank called Unibank that they set up. And that had to do with Colombian businesses. So these guys are definitely in the drug trade. Association between First National Bank of Louisville. Another guy came in by the name of John Brown, who was Kentucky's governor at the time. And he had ties to organized crime as well.

12:40 Which in Kentucky, I lived just north of Kentucky for four years. There's a lot of that there because of the horse racing industry anyway. So it's a very interesting dynamic. Hung went to work for Union Planters National Bank in Memphis, Tennessee. They also had a company that they formed called...

13:10 Turks and Caicos Banking Company Limited. And that bank had shareholders of a guy that we came across that was tied to John Zinleb, who was CIA, and that Geo Militech company that we talked about in Chapter 7. So there's this huge network.

13:39 He goes to Hong Kong in 1983, and he is working for the Far East branch of the James Riotti Bank and his dad, Moktar Riotti. He then becomes vice president of a Hong Kong bank controlled by the Riottis and Worthen Bank. Worthen Bank is the bank.

14:14 That was in all of the scandals in Arkansas. They were tied to the Jackson-Steven family. So now you've got another guy whose name is C. Joseph Giroir. G-I-R-O-I-R. He is the head of the Rose Law Firm and held stock in the Worthen Bank.

14:50 and had a spot on the Worthen board while he was representing them, which is kind of a conflict of interest. It was through Worthen Bank that Mark Middleton would first come into contact with Hung and the Riottis. So Hung became president and COO of the Riotti-controlled Lipo Bank in California because the Riottis owned Lipo Group.

15:25 Hung eventually moves to New York City where he becomes general manager of the Bank of Central Asia, which the Riottis also own a huge chunk of. They're moving him around almost like they're grooming him. He goes back to California and he becomes in charge of all of the U.S. operations for the LIFO group. So they've got him groomed. He's got all of the experience they need. They're going to throw him in as being in charge of the LIFO group.

15:58 And keep in mind, the LIPO group is tied to all kinds of not great things. Hung personally worked on the negotiations of the LIPO group in their failed attempt to take over the BCCI's Hong Kong branch when BCCI was going broke. So in 1991, Hung becomes associated with the DNC. He uses his position.

16:32 And all of these different places with access to foreign money begin hawking his importance to the DNC. And it's at this time, the DNC chairperson is Ron Brown, the guy that moves on when Clinton is elected to be his commerce secretary. So Ron Brown is very big into fundraising and the whole.

17:02 democrat political apparatus he begins traveling all over asia and having fundraisers and he's having fundraisers inviting people that aren't legally allowed to donate yet they bring tons of buckets and buckets of cash and the cash is exchanged at these fundraisers so hong arranges for several fifty thousand dollar donations to the dnc

17:36 And then they start setting up all these front companies and every one of their front companies is donating too because of the corporate limit. So eventually Ron Brown hires Hung to work for him at the Commerce Office. But before he ever even works for Ron Brown, so he's not even a civilian at working for the government.

18:11 Ron Brown manages to get this guy a security clearance so he can sit in on planning meetings at Commerce Department. So another guy whose last name, they call him Charlie, and his last name is Tree, T-R-I-E. So he starts working with Hung to bring in all of the lucrative China money. And they're basically lobbying for China.

18:46 Not long after Clinton took office, Larley Palm, who had previously also worked for the DNC, wrote Clinton's deputy director of personnel to recommend that Hung be hired at the Commerce Department. And nobody at the Commerce Department wanted him working there. He had no qualifications to work there at all. But he was placed.

19:16 as a must hire under the political appointments as the DNC's number one guy to be placed in all of the administration. So he gets approved to work for the Department of Commerce, and he works in a particular area called ITA, International Trade Administration. Now, keep in mind that International Trade Association is where all the deals are made. It's a very, very important area.

19:47 And for those of you who are not familiar with the federal government, probably next to a very limited area of the State Department, the Commerce Department is like the only part of the federal government that's constitutionally protected, saying that it actually has a job because it regulates both internal and external trade.

20:15 It is very, very powerful when you have an economy the size of the United States. So this is the people that work on tariffs, trade associations. These are the people that come up with NAFTA. They are very important as far as like really the state. And if you go down through the history, after we get off here, I would suggest go look up.

20:47 Commerce Department, and look who some of the previous secretaries are. They kind of always go under the radar, but they are, they weld a big stick, I'll just say that. Okay, so in this area, we have some people like Jeffrey Garten, G-A-R-T-E-N, another guy.

21:14 These are all the people that, and Charles Meissner, these are all people that are going to be superior to Hung in this new business area in commerce. So he officially left his position at the LIFO Group receiving $780,000 a year plus bonuses.

21:42 So if you're going to lose, you're going to leave about a million dollars a year to go work for the federal government. You're not just working for the federal government. Let me see if I can fix that better. How about that? Can you hear me now? I'll do my first, my best impression of, um, so, whoa. All right. Is that better?

So we've got Hung. Definitely better. All right. Thanks. So we've got Hung working at the Commerce Department. He leaves a million-dollar job to come get.

24:58 you know, probably $75,000 a year that he was hired at, maybe at the time. And he also is in an area working with someone at the Bank of the United States. So Joseph Giroir guy that had become Riotti's main business partner and lawyer in the United States.

25:35 from the Arkansas days. So they have this whole little group there. And again, the people that he's working for don't like him. They don't want him there. They think he's not qualified. They have no idea why he is there. So, but immediately after he gets there, Ron Brown goes on a trade mission to China and he returns with a $1 billion power plant project.

26:07 It's going to be financed by the LIFO group. Isn't that weird how that works out? The place where Hung just left. And it's going to be managed by a company called Intergy Corporation, which is a Louisiana-based concern, but it has ties to Arkansas. In Time magazine, it was said.

26:36 Commerce officials claim that Hung recused himself from any dealings on the matter, but he actually did not. So Hung had kept in close contact with his Riotti buddies from the LIFO group and a guy by the name of Webster Hubble. Webster Hubble, who is a Rose Law Firm lawyer and is serving as Associate Attorney General. They just brought everybody from Arkansas with them.

27:08 Hubble was forced to resign from his DOJ because he got involved in a scandal in 1994. He was offered a consulting job immediately afterwards, working for who? The Riotti family from the LIFO group. And also, he worked with another guy by the name of Ron Perlman. His name keeps coming up over and over again as well. So, we've got...

27:42 The Jackson-Steven-Riotti crowd. And Jackson-Steven actually, yes, L-I-P-P-O. That's right, Tara. Jackson-Steven actually has an office across the street from Commerce. Isn't that amazing? And this hung guy actually spends more time in the office.

28:09 Over at Stephen's place than he does in his office at Commerce. What was he doing over there? So the ITA, which is the Division of Commerce where he worked, worked very closely with Systematic. And they were trying to work on a deal to sell that software to China. And it's also believed that Hung was a part of that as well.

28:47 which, of course, systematic is Jackson Stevens software, so he would have benefited greatly from that sale. It would have also given us the opportunity to be able to spy on China, too, of course. So Hung had begun soliciting contributions to the DNC while he was employed as a civil service employee, which is against the Hatch Act, but he still did it.

29:23 And he funneled all of those solicitations through his wife's name. In 1995, Riotti partner Joseph Huor, who had been donating $200,000 to the Democrats annually, had began lobbying then national chairman of the DNC, Don Fowler, to hire Hung at the DNC.

29:56 So, Middleton worked at the White House. While Middleton was at the White House, Hung and Riotti met with him frequently. From March 1993 to October 1996, James Riotti went to the White House 20 times. While Hung, before, during, and after his role at Commerce, went there 95 times. That's crazy.

30:28 Can you imagine being like a GS-14, a GS-15, and the people that you work with are like, you know, maybe an SES or whatever. And this little punk is going to the White House 95 times. Some of these visits for both Hung and Riotti include visits with the president. James Riotti visited the White House.

30:59 John Hung accompanied him. Riotti was granted private meetings with the president, and some of these meetings included Mark Middleton. Some of the meetings that Riotti had with the president involved China, and also granting China most favored nation status. These were bought and paid for people representing China. They had all taken money from China.

31:35 Clinton had campaigned on saying he was not going to give that status to China. We all know he did. And he decoupled most favored nation status from Chinese human rights record. So basically, he gave the entire economy of the United States away to China. That's what Bill Clinton did. He did it while Ron Brown was Secretary of Commerce, and he did it while he had Chinese stooges in his administration.

32:11 So in 95, Middleton, just weeks after he had left the White House position, went with James Riotti to a meeting in the Oval Office with Clinton. The next day, Joseph Giroir created a new company. This new company, obviously as a result of this meeting, was called Arkansas International Development Corporation. They also opened up a Cayman Space counterpart,

32:43 called Arkansas International Development Corporation II. According to a congressional report, both Error and this Cayman Company, the Riottis owned LIFO and closely tied HUM, attempted to gain influence by hiring people with access to Clinton. Middleton was then hired by the Cayman Company in July of 95.

33:15 And they paid him a salary of $12,500 a month. On Riotti's payroll, Middleton was supposed to seek out businesses for opportunities in the Asian market, particularly joint venture partners with LIPO entities. So from 95 to 97, Middleton produced no joint ventures for the Riotti, despite being paid by that point.

33:44 $262,000. Middleton's other jobs for Riotti included arranging meetings for James Riotti, especially basically acting like his errand boy. While traveling to Asia, Middleton passed out his White House business cards as if he was still working there. But what's interesting about that is he still had an active phone line at the White House, and he still had his email.

34:16 his voicemail box set up to say it was Mark Newton. And that, if you know anything about the way the Pentagon and the White House works, that was intentional. So after a meeting in September 95, attended by the president, Hung, Riotti, Thoreau, and the White House attorney, Bruce Lindsey.

34:44 Lindsey contacted Chung and asked if he would like to move from commerce to the DNC. So, he moves to the DNC. His role was so controversial because his former employer, LiPo Group, had become increasingly involved in the Chinese government beginning in 1991. The LiPo Group's first known business connections to the Chinese government was related to LiPo's efforts to rescue the BCCI.

35:18 bank which we talked about. Hong had personally been involved in that and basically was acting as an agent of the Chinese government during the entire time he was here. So he had set up a company called China Resources in order to work out that BCCI deal.

35:49 We know the effort failed, but China Resources purchased 15% of Riyadi's controlled Hong Kong Chinese bank in 1992. They increased their stake to 50% in 1993, but in doing so, they had overpaid the stock price more than $125 million. And basically, that's what they do when they're buying influence. That's money laundering right there.

36:21 So China Resources infused the failing LIFO land for tens of millions of dollars, effectively bailing out the Riotti family. The LIFO group and China Resources grew closer as they created development projects for China. A guy that worked at DIA and another guy that was an investigator at the Senate Government Affairs Committee said, quote,

36:55 about China Resources, the company that the Riotti set up. It was an agent of espionage, economic, military, and political, unquote. That's what they labeled it after investigating. China Resources began forging close ties with the Riotti LIFO group after Clinton's election, and the fact that it paralleled with Johnny Peng's own unusual rise in commerce and then his follow-on assignment in the DNC.

37:28 It gives increased importance to the role that he was playing during this time. So they tried to set up meetings with this company, with Ron Graham, on business trips. There's several controversial and illegal fundraisers followed Hung's journey to the DNC. One of the most controversial ones was an intimate meeting of businessmen with Clinton.

38:01 at the Jefferson Hotel. Three of the four businessmen, including Riotti, were not American citizens and could not legally donate to the Clinton election campaign. One of those guys named James Nguyen had a construction company in Taiwan. He was also the co-founder of a California company that had been fined $41,000 for money laundering.

38:36 Dealing with improper campaign funds. So another woman, Maria Haseya, H-S-I-A, who co-founded the Pacific Leadership Council with Hung and the Riottis in 1988, she had close ties to Al Gore and all of his fundraising efforts. A 96 fundraiser hosted in LA.

39:10 was at the home of Lou Wasserman from the MCA movie studio, where Riotti was listed as a BNC commit list, even though it would have been illegal for him to donate. Another guy, that's that Charlie Tree guy, who had been befriended by Clinton.

39:36 And Arkansas served as a proxy to donate large sums of money from foreigners based in Taiwan and China. So Charlie Tree was a very favorite person as far as Clinton was concerned. They exchanged birthday cards and all kinds of different things. Taiwanese government listed him as being born in China. But those of us who've been around for a while and listened to this, we know.

40:09 that Taiwan is a name change. It's Formosa. It's just an island, part of China. And it wasn't until Chiang moved there and changed the name, and then we played this stupid game of, oh, hey, Taiwan's not part of China. It is. It always has been. So that's really not that big of a deal. So they referred to...

40:45 Tree, Charlie Tree refers to Clinton as the big boss. And the two of them become very close. And he becomes friends with another guy by the name of Antonio Pan, P-A-N. And they are, he was working for United Pacific Trading, which is a subsidiary of Lipo Group. Pan later becomes the executive president of Lipo.

41:20 subsidiary called Tati Group, T-A-T-I Group. So, Free gets a loan from Riotti so he can expand his restaurant. Free ends up selling his restaurant and opens a company called Daihatsu International Trading Corporation. So, they begin making frequent trips to China because supposedly this is like an import-export company.

42:04 Trying to see several of these companies that they set up. They actually do no business at all. They just are shell company. Form excuses for them to travel back and forth and basically money launder, spy, whatever it is that they're doing at the time. So Tree starts working with the guy that's into mob activities in Macau.

42:37 which is an island off of China. And that guy's basically a multimillionaire. And he also has very close ties to the Communist Party and the military. He owns basically what is a brothel for all of the senior leadership in China, which is...

43:14 Most likely one of those honey traps where they are getting compromised material on Chinese officials. So he kind of fits right into the crowd. They also try to buy in Little Rock a place called the Camelot Hotel. Then Tree moves to Washington, D.C., and his business, DeHatsu, still has no money. They're doing no business at all. It's a shell company.

43:49 For the Senate investigating, Tree eventually says, quote, Daihatsu made little or no money at the time. A report goes on to say Tree and his wife had very little income from other sources, but he lived a very, yeah, blackmail. He lived a very nice life in Washington, D.C., which isn't cheap. So he had, he lived in,

44:26 the Watergate complex. And let's see, if you remember the Watergate complex had buildings behind it that they, and the DNC at this time was using it as a brothel as well. So that's an interesting high end. Mark Middleton and other prominent White House DNC officials kind of already had meetings with Tree all the time.

45:07 So, in October 1994, three incorporated a company in Arkansas called San Yip, S-A-N-Y-I-P, International Trading Company, which was officially in the business of exporting chemicals, machinery, and advanced technology. But subpoenaed bank records show neither earnings nor any business activity at all.

45:39 another shell company. So they do have lots of wire transfers back and forth, like $1.5 million, $1.1 million. So it looks basically like they were money laundering for the DNC, making large deposits or contributions. So at the time all of this was going on, you'll never guess.

46:17 who served on the board of the finance board of directors, Edgar Bronfman at the DNC, Mr. Mafioso himself. That's crazy. So around October 95, Ron Brown makes another trip back to Asia. And all of the dinners that were basically fundraising dinners were all taken off his schedule, even though they had appeared on his schedule.

46:58 So during this event, they are again going around soliciting donations. One of the guys that was at this event is Wang, W-A-N-G, Jun, G-U-N. He's basically known in China as their premier arms dealer. You just can't make this up. So let's see.

47:30 They come back, they have another fundraiser in Washington, D.C., and there's notes going back and forth that the investigators get a copy of that gives you the impression that you have a lot of illegal people making donations to the DNC. That's what comes out of the eventual investigation into all of this.

48:07 not that anything happened to any of them of course so tree ends up getting about 10 um 22 visits to the white house between 93 and 96 and most of their visits had mark middleton and hung in the meetings with them and let's see i'm going to go down through here let's see the next thing

48:43 This is just going back and forth. There's not anybody new of what they're doing, describing some details of basically money laundering. And that's all we need to know. So Stanley Ho comes into this. He's the top casino magnate in Macau, which is referred to as the Las Vegas of Asia. He's also involved with the Keswick family.

49:15 from asia that we talked about and the sassoon family that all were tied up in the opening trade the stanley ho guy is so he's part of this asia outreach program yay and let's see also i just want to pass this on when we're doing research there's a lot of trade associations that are set up in washington dc based on

49:46 Not just countries, but regional areas. And I've not found them to be good for anything other than funneling money. That's basically what they're there for. All right. Then we move on to Johnny Chung. And he has to do with the 1996 campaign financing.

Chung, C-H-U-N-G, first name Johnny, was granted numerous White House visits, dealt with Mark Middleton, just like the rest of them, made sizable donations to the Democrat Party and to John Kerry's Senate campaign. He was born in Taiwan, immigrated to the U.S. in 88. He founded a company called Telform.

50:55 T-E-L-F-O-R-M. And later, that company became Automated Intelligence System, A-I-S-I. This company is one of the first companies to do fax broadcasting, where you can punch in a bunch of names and hit send, and the fax goes out to all of the people. That's basically the business that he was in.

51:31 They decided that that would be a great idea to use in political campaigns and governments. And basically, when Clinton was still in the governor's mansion in Arkansas, the story goes that basically he just walked up to the governor's mansion and knocked on the door. Hillary, by his great invention, said no one ever. That's the story we're going with.

52:08 So the First Lady used his association with Hillary Clinton to convince California Governor Pete Wilson to adopt his broadcasting acts, making Wilson the very first customer. Now, he ends up in a bunch of federal agencies and state governments. And I want to tell you something, because all of this is about espionage.

52:37 Imagine the amount of information they had access to when they went to service these machines that have memories in them of all of the information being faxed out via these broadcast fax systems. Let that sink in. And this guy's a Chinese guy. So he also makes campaign contributions.

53:22 Chung received $2.4 million wired into his account from China in order to make his contributions. And let's see. Chung began planning a trip of a delegation of very important business leaders from China to come into the United States. He starts working with Al Gore, Ron Brown. A month later.

53:57 He donates $50,000 as an award and was awarded a meeting with Hillary Clinton to try to set this whole thing up. And Chung reportedly said after the meeting, quote, I see the White House is like a subway. You have to put in coins for the gate to open. And I don't know, when I read that, I don't know if y'all ever subscribed to Rush Limbaugh's.

54:30 podcast version of his radio show, I had the app on my phone. And during the paid commercials, which were not on the app, he ran these funny little hysterical commercials. And one of them was exactly this. And now I know where he got it from. It shows this kind of Oriental guy putting coins in and the doors keep opening like a smart thing. And every time they put money in,

54:59 And then he had another one where you called in and you could press one for $1,000. And then basically you got some little hoo-bah song. If you want to press three and donate $10,000, you'll get a birthday present bill. If you want to press four and you want to donate $50,000, you can get whatever.

55:29 And it kept going up. Oh, you can get a meeting. Oh, you can get dinner. And it was hysterical. And this must have been what he was making fun of. So Hillary Clinton's office assisted Chung in getting the Chinese delegation into a president's radio address where they took pictures. They were concerned about the pictures getting out.
