Every single terror organization that we've came in contact with since 1942 is somehow tied and funded to Operation Gladio, which is why I will not shut up about it. So in doing this, in the recent book review we did on Operation Gladio by Paul Williams.

I was using a secondary book that had some very specific country by country chronologies. And one of the most fascinating to me was Greece, maybe because I've.

7:26 been there. I was not stationed there, but I've actually visited Greece a couple of times. In Operation Gladio, Paul Williams' book, he went into very deep detail about Italy. And y'all know that Greece is right across the Adriatic Sea from Italy. So there was some commonality. So I wanted to do a little bit of a deep dive on Greece. So we're going to get started. And just by way of background, in 1940, Mussolini, a fascist totalitarian,

7:56 attacked Greece and basically trying to capture Greece for the Axis powers. But Greece resistance fighters was able to thwart that attack and repel Mussolini's advances. In 1941, Hitler invades Greece, but this time he's successful and he basically declares it part of the Axis forces. However,

8:24 Greeks are not known to give up easily. They have organized resistance entities. I mean, almost like the good guys had their own gladio. They organized into their own militias, if you will. And they continued to fight during the entire time the German forces were there. There's an organization called E.L.A.S. And that was E.L.A.S. is how I'm going to refer to them during this presentation.

8:53 They were the formed resistance fighters. EAM was the political arm of those resistant fighters. EAM had approximately two of the seven million Greeks as members. The UK British forces supplied the fighters with weapons and munitions during the resistance of Nazi Germany. Churchill cut off supplies in 1943.

9:26 World War II would come to an end in 1945. UK had made a secret deal with Stalin in 1943 to carve up the Balkans and give Greece to the UK and the US while the Soviets kept Bulgaria and Romania. Churchill did not want to jeopardize, in a nutshell, he didn't want to jeopardize arming too much of a resistance force.

9:57 Knowing that now he was going to get Greece because they might not like what he's going to do to him. So he wanted to weaken the resistance forces before the UK and the US was given Greece in the aftermath of World War II. Also, what you might find interesting is this deal was made in 1943.

10:22 The war didn't end until 1945. So it's almost like they knew what was going to happen. So the US-UK plan was to install a conservative king. Basically, they had a king. And that king had basically been in the pocket of the totalitarians and throughout some portion of their history.

10:50 So they wanted to make sure that they kind of propped him up as the face of their democracy and also have a prime minister. So the resistance people were kind of viewed as left of center. So they wanted to kind of minimize them as much as possible. This created a problem in Greece because the king was very unpopular because of his support of a previous dictator.

11:20 Metaxas. That guy even used the Hitler salute. He formed the secret police during the 1930s. He was a very bad dude. The UK even had a plan to attack Greece in order to weaken it after the agreement with 1943 if they couldn't lessen the influence of the resistance fighters.

11:52 The UK supported a fascist ex-bands of Cyprus fighters that was led by a man by the name of George Grivis. He is a known Nazi collaborator and began to covertly attack the Greek freedom fighters on behalf of the British government. Grivis was not having the effect Churchill desired.

12:22 So he set up secret fighters called the Greek Mountain Brigade or Hellenic Raiding Force. The theory was that there would be too many leftover of the center left fighters or freedom fighters. And center left or left is what they label everybody that's not going to be pro-West. Just so that you know, after all of these books I've read, that's the label they give them, if not outright communist.

12:54 Basically, they're just at this point trying to soften their takeover of Greece. The UK selected Field Marshal Alexander Papagos. Papagos was the perfect Western stooge. He became Greece's first chief of the Hellenic National Defense in 1950. He became the prime minister in 1952. He put Greece in NATO.

13:23 Because NATO is the umbrella for all of the Operation Gladio throughout Europe. And he opened Greece to U.S. military bases. In his early years, he was the aide-de-camp to the king. See that connection? And so he was a known loyalist and the perfect stooge for the West to glom on to. It's like they groomed them. He was removed from the army early in his career for being a monarchist. In 1935, he had rejoined the military twice.

13:55 in 1935, and then again a second time, because monarchists had been elected during those two additional times. He and his Navy and Air Force counterparts actually mounted a coup against the Greek government. He was assigned the job of Minister of Military Affairs in a newly formed government who instantly restored the king to monarchy. From his position, he employed

14:24 the army to support Metaxas' declaration of dictatorship in 1936. So he has a coup, he reinstalls the king, and then they recognize a dictator. And the king, during this time that he's now formally recognized again, actually basically gets in bed with the dictator. He remained in charge of the army and defeated the Italians, but lost to the, defeated the

14:59 Mussolini, not necessarily the Italians, but lost to the Germans. He was eventually captured by Germans and sent to Dachau. But interestingly enough, unlike a lot of the Dachau prisoners, there was 140 of them that was kind of separated and left alone. He was later given the Knight Grand Cross of Order by the British government. See where this is going? Again, grooming them. He used the LOK.

15:29 and napalm to drive out the remaining militants or resistant fighters. Churchill was worried that it would be discovered that he had used Greek fascists in the ELAS to defeat Germany towards the end of the war, and so he ordered all of the ELAS fighters to immediately disarm. ELAS

15:59 agreed to disarm only if the Hellenic raiding forces, which were the UK's secret army, disarmed. Churchill refused. A demonstration occurred in Greece in December of 1944, which was six weeks after Germany had been kicked out. It was a peaceful protest in the city of Athens with about 600 people in the town square to include men, women, and children.

16:28 there was additional 60,000 that had been blocked out of the main city square. Unbeknownst to them, UK troops, as well as these armed Hellenic raiding forces, had climbed to the top of the buildings around the city square and opened fire. And if that sounds familiar, it's because it's a standard operating procedure for Gladio units. This is the terror.

At the end of the massacre, 25 people were murdered to include little kids. 148 were wounded. The 60,000 eventually made it to the square once they heard the shooting. And every single one of them were unarmed, remained calm, and basically had a...

17:29 very solemn prayer vigil, if you will, over the massacre. And as a result, they demanded that all of the UK forces leave their country. Meanwhile, the UK, the House of Commons were outraged, but they never ordered, their outrage only goes so far. They never ordered an investigation. No one was ever held accountable. Sounds just like Ukraine. The British reinstalled the King and the ELS.

18:01 handed over their weapons to the British in return for national democratic elections to be held in 1946. Several UK puppet governments followed, and members of the EAM were arrested and sent to an island off the coast of Greece to prison camps. Most of the world celebrated the end of World War II. Greece was locked in a civil war.

18:36 Yugoslavia at the time had been providing arms to the resistance fighters. And the U.S. government said that President Truman had convinced Congress in 1947 the U.S. had to interfere with the Greek Civil War. And Greece became the first country to be invaded by the U.S. during the Cold War under the auspices of combating.

19:05 communism. This would later apply, obviously, to Korea, Guatemala, Iran, Cuba, Vietnam, Panama, blah, blah, blah, all under the guise of combating communism. But literally in Greece, there wasn't any communists there. The U.S. justified this by labeling the current regime with human rights violation.

19:39 Despite their human rights violations of putting people into prisons and torturing them, they labeled them as a democratic government and everyone else as terrorists. Doesn't that sound familiar? Let's save the democracy by labeling all of the people who don't want leftist Marxist doctrine as terrorists. The same playbook plays out today in the United States as it did back then in Greece.

20:05 Had America even known what was going on in Greece and could have stood up and said, that's not what our government is for, none of this would have happened. But we have, and I'm not going to say we allowed it. We didn't even know about it. We've been lied to the entire time. Our government, via the CIA, has went all over the world doing exactly what they're doing today in America. And I want everybody to understand that, which is why I'm doing this.

20:32 U.S. deployed military forces to the country in 1948. Soviets removed Yugoslavia from the Soviet bloc after they found out that Yugoslavia was supplying Greece with weapons because they wanted to avoid a superpower confrontation. Let that sink in for just a second. The communists that we're supposed to be afraid of basically kicks out Yugoslavia from their Soviet bloc.

20:59 Because they don't want the confrontation with the UK and the US during this big Cold War we're supposed to be having. So the US in turn begins using chemical warfare like napalm on the Greek people who were resisting the puppet government that had been installed by UK and US. Yes, we used chemical weapons. This finally got rid of the freedom fighters.

22:01 Secret documents, including one regarding the Greek secret army dated March 25th, 1955, was signed by a U.S. general named Truscott, T-R-U-S-C-O-T-T, for the CIA. Because after he retired from the military, he joined and worked with the CIA, along with the Greek Prime Minister Papagos.

22:28 There was an additional document that said the secret armies were going to be extended through the 1960s. Trescot was also involved in Gladio operation coups in Iran and Guatemala. And in Guatemala, that's when they couped Arbenz, which we talked about in our other book. And this was done under the Dulles slash Eisenhower. So Dulles was.

22:57 At the CIA and Eisenhower was president when all of this was going on and they knew about it. They would turn the Hellenic raiding force into the Greek gladios, even donning green berets because many of them were trained by the green berets. They attended the NATO ACC meetings in Brussels, which we found most of the coordination that happened in gladio units was done under the auspices of an organization.

23:25 labeled the ACC that was under the umbrella of NATO. So everybody in NATO knew this was going on. Some will claim later they didn't, but they did. Some particular countries named it something else. So if it was ever discovered, they could say, oh, no, we don't have Gladio. In Greece, it was called Operation Sheepskin.

23:54 or red sheepskin, or just sheepskin, as well as Gladio. In South America, they created an entire umbrella, Operation Condor, to in-house the Operation Gladio units as a collective. Philip McGee revealed that the CIA Gladio unit structure, he revealed the Gladio structure in a book called Dirty Work, the CIA in Western Europe.

24:26 And as a result, he basically lost his citizenship in the United States. The guy went through hell. There was all kinds of accusations made about him being, you know, a Russian spy and, you know, the whole nine yards. They completely destroyed his life. He ended up having to go to Cuba because all of the Western countries kicked him out.

24:50 And after he was treated so shabbily, his next book, he starts releasing all the names of the CIA people that he ever worked with. And that's what created the law that says you can't do that. And it's illegal to do that. That was used in the Valerie Flames court case. This guy, Philip Agee, is the one that created the impetus for that law, because after exposing the CIA and all the bad things they were doing in Gladio units.

25:20 They destroyed him and he decided he was going to take them down, too. So he recruited several Greek citizens for the CIA, including a group that was a threat against under the auspices that the of the leftist coup that was never going to happen. So the Gladio.

25:46 units were trained by the CIA inside of Greece. They were used by the West as long-term insurance policies to ensure a capability to overthrow any unsympathetic Greek government. Karamanez was transferred to Italy. And that's very interesting because remember, Italy was the hotbed of Operation Gladio in 1958.

27:13 where he was intimately involved in the Italian Gladio program. He was forced to leave Rome amid rumors that he had actually arranged the bombing of an airplane that had Enrico Mattei in it. Mattei had made the mistake of working directly with Saudi Arabia and Russia, Soviets, to better the Italian oil industry at the expense of what Mattei labeled

28:41 So they got to keep 50% of the profits and then Italy would keep the other 50%. And he was working his way up in contracts to his goal of giving them 75%. So the fact that he had already started implementing some of his long-term goals pissed everybody off. He worked with Iran and Egypt directly on behalf of the Italian, excuse me, the Greek, the Italian citizens, because he wanted to lower.

So back when we talked about in Hidden Histories about the JFK assassination, Charles de Gaulle wanted to free Algeria, which was a French colony. Charles de Gaulle, by his secret stay behind Gladio units, they tried to kill him four or five times. There were French assassins from a secret.

30:04 Gladio affiliated unit in France that de Gaulle disbanded, got rid of. Two of them, marksmen, snipers, were in Dallas when JFK was murdered. So now this guy just stepped in the big hornet's nest because he's supporting the freedom of Algeria, which at the same time JFK was and de Gaulle was. The aircraft that exploded had taken off from Sicily.

So in order to fund and set up Gladio units with weapons and communications and cash in case they get activated, they had to find a source of that money. So they were going, they were doing drug trafficking and processing. And one of their major lab facilities was in Sicily where the mafia is.

He was the prime minister while all of the Operation Gladio stuff was going on in Italy, and he covered it all up. 32:30 soon obtained an audio tape of his last speech and spent days studying it. Morrow disappeared eight days after his retrieval of the tape in September 1970 without a trace. His body was never found. And we know what they do with those people. They chop them up and put them in cement. In October 1995, the Italian public service broadcaster reported they were going to exhume the body and re-examine him and his pilot. 40:11 and forced the Western-friendly Constantine Karamalas to resign. New elections were conducted in November of 1963, and Papandu George was elected the prime minister. He was the first prime minister since the end of World War II that was elected without the support of the U.S. or U.K.

The CIA began to conspire with King Constantine and other Greek military and Gladio units. And in 1965, they maneuvered Papadu out of office by royal prerogative, i.e. the king fired him. And meanwhile, in order to instigate that instability or further it along, all kinds of terrorist attacks starts happening. President Johnson summoned the Greek ambassador, Alexander Madison, to the White House and told him that the problems in Cyprus had to be solved and it was going to be the way the U.S. wanted it solved and it was going to be divided into two entities. One part was going to be Greek and the other part was going to be Turkey. He refused and Johnson yells at him, this is a quote, then listen to me, Mr. Ambassador,

And later, because of his ability to speak foreign languages, was contacted by the CIA to work in their Mediterranean group.

Andreas would become a big critic of the U.S. and their interference in Greece, NATO's interference in Greece, and the corruption of the Greek king. As you can see,

Because all we did every time that we went into these countries as the democracy is we had, we stole all their resources. We took everything they had. So that's literally what is happening all over the world during this time. In one instance, Andreas had began working in the Greek government in 1964, because now he's back in Greece because of all the turmoil going on, and found out that the CIA, so he's working in the Greek government.
